#R1# Hunt doesn't succeed with the takedown#CL# and Leddy holds on and brings the fighters into a clinch. Leddy lands an elbow that stopped Hunt in his tracks for a moment. #CUT# It looks like Mark Hunt has been cut. Leddy prevents the takedown attempt.
Leddy is pressed up against the cage. Hunt has hold of a leg and is looking to drag Leddy down to the mat. Leddy avoids the attempt though and has circled away. We're back to striking at a distance. Chantulio Leddy has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Mark Hunt.#CL# Leddy closes the distance and pushes Hunt back into the cage. Leddy gets double underhooks to prevent a takedown attempt from Hunt.
#KD# Leddy drops Hunt with a big knee straight up the middle! Hunt is covering up against the cage but manages to escape and gets back to his feet! #CUT# That has opened up Mark Hunt's cut even more. Hunt looks winded! Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.#CL# Leddy darts in and clinches Hunt up against the cage. Hunt is looking to take this one to the mat. Leddy lands a knee to the head.
#CUT# The cut above Mark Hunt's eye is starting to cause him problems now. Clinched against the cage, Leddy lands a big elbow that drops Hunt! The ref dives in to save him from more shots - Hunt is complaining that he's OK but he was done.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:54 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Chantulio Leddy! Chantulio Leddy took to the mic after the fight and begged the organizational hierarchy for a shot at the title.
