#R1# A telegraphed takedown attempt from Keene is defended easily by Runner. Keene slips a jab and a cross from Runner.
Keene tries to counter with a takedown but Runner is quick to defend against it.#TD2# Runner changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Keene looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. Runner throws a strike aimed at the side of Keene's head but Keene avoids it well.#SUB2# Runner tries for an arm triangle. That looks pretty tight to me. Is this one over!?! Possibly, maybe, no Runner has let go of the choke. Obviously it wasn't as tight as we thought! Keene gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Keene actively working from the bottom here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB2# Runner is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.

He's now in the guard on the top. #REVR# Runner is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Flash Runner dominated that round. A close second round but Flash Runner will probably get the nod - 10:9. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. He's hooked one of Runner's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Runner's back! Runner is in a world of trouble here. He's outmatched on the ground here and he'd better get Keene off his back sharpish unless he wants to be submitted. Oh, this is biiiig trouble! Keene arches his back and squeezes and forces the tap from his hapless opponent.

#R1# Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Pearson. Runner shrugs it off though. Horrible takedown attempt by Runner or perhaps it was just good defense by Pearson, which made it look bad. Runner drops his hands and takes a jab to the jaw for his troubles. Good exchange - Pearson coming out on top. Runner throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Pearson's waist but Pearson gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Runner off to one side. Runner closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so. Pearson scores with a push kick.#CL# Runner takes the fight into the clinch. Pearson gets through Runner's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Pearson lands a shoulder strike. Pearson told us before the fight that he's been working on his elbows. An under utilised technique these days - let's see if it can sway the outcome of the fight. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Pearson crunches a lovely knee into Runner's ribcage. Pearson lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Runner or not. A right hook to the body lands for Pearson.

Runner has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. With the fighters clinched against the cage, Pearson creates a bit of distance for himself and scores with a nice uppercut. A short left from Pearson. Pearson creates a bit of space for himself and rocks Runner with a big uppercut! Runner tries to clinch up but Pearson pushes him back against the cage and lands another monster strike that crumples Runner to the mat! Runner covers up and Pearson unloads with more strikes until the referee steps in to end the bout!

He's looking for a kimura... He's got it locked and he's managed to free his trapped foot. Collins tries to escape but it's on too tight and he has to tap! Great BJJ skills there from Runner!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Flash Runner! After winning the bout, Flash Runner thanked all his fans and promised he'd do even better in his next fight. The crowd seemed to love his humility.

Lannister feints a straight left to the body, then turns around with a flashy move and hits Runners jaw with a dramatic spinning back fist! Lannister scores with a big left there. The judges will like that one. Lannister connects with a hook to the side of his opponent's head. Lannister throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Nice sprawl there from Lannister as Runner shoots in. Runner shoots in looking for a takedown. Lannister tries to sprawl out of it but Runner keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Lannister manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Lannister misses with a jab to the body
