and Noye counters with a three punch combo that has Davidyak backing up. Davidyak nods at Noye to acknowledge the strikes. Davidyak throws a big shot that misses. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Noye! But no joy. Noye is looking to take this fight into the clinch. As Noye looks to move away, Davidyak throws a big counter combo but Noye just gets out of the way. Davidyak misses with a wild body shot. A swing and a miss from Davidyak.#CL2# Noye has managed to clinch.

I was talking to Davidyak's coach per-fight and he was telling me that they'd been working on the clinch in the runup to this fight. Davidyak takes an elbow to the forehead. Essam shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Davidyak defends it nicely. Essam walks into a straight right hand from Davidyak. Davidyak lands with a massive overhand right! Stick a fork in Essam - he's out cold! Ermm... I think I just mixed my metaphors but yeah... That was a nice KO! Big win for Davidyak!
