The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Von Kockenstein looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ortiz is one step ahead there. Ortiz seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SUB2# Von Kockenstein is active off his back here, looking for submissions.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Von Kockenstein has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Ortiz can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Von Kockenstein is on top in guard.

He's simply no match for Von Kockenstein on the ground. Ortiz is pulling down on Von Kockenstein's head to control his posture. #ES# Ortiz pushes Von Kockenstein off and scrambles back to his feet.

Ortiz really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape.#T2##TD# Ortiz gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. Von Kockenstein tries to push off, looking to stand up, but Ortiz manages to move to mount!
Ortiz lands a big elbow. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Ortiz unloading with bombs! Von Kockenstein sneaks a leg back under and regains half guard and is working straight away to try and get back to guard. He hasn't managed just yet though. Von Kockenstein is pressing down on Ortiz's left leg trying to get back to full guard. He's managed it.#ES2# Von Kockenstein is edging up against the cage. He's using the cage to get back to his feet. Nice work there - the fighters are clinched. #TD# The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Ortiz is trying to trip Von Kockenstein. He has hold of a leg but Von Kockenstein is hopping around, keeping his balance for the moment. Ortiz persists though and gets the takedown into guard.#SUB2# Ortiz avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Ortiz doesn't seem to be doing much to defend here, obviously he feels comfortable in the position. Oh but Von Kockenstein is tightening it up a little... Ortiz has to be careful here... He's got his foot tucked under now, this looks tight! Ortiz reacted too slowly and this one could be over in a matter of seconds! YES! Ortiz taps out! Nice BJJ there by Von Kockenstein!
