Finnigan throws a body punch but Griffon moves out of range.
Griffon looks to have improved his striking defense since last time we saw him fight.
Griffon doesn't react quick enough there as he takes a shot to the body.
Griffon fails miserably with a takedown attempt.
Finnigan lands a really nice looking cross but Griffon seems unphased.
Griffon closes the distance looking to clinch
and Finnigan counters with a nice body shot.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.
Finnigan scores with a one two! Griffon had his feet all tangled up there and couldn't avoid the strikes.
Finnigan misses the shot to the body.
Griffon is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Finnigan.
Negan Finnigan is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs.#T1#
Griffon changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Finnigan tries to avoid it but Griffon manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Finnigan to the ground. Finnigan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet.
The fight stays on the outside here - Griffon looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
Jab, cross, leg kick. Nice combination by Finnigan!
Griffon shoots in looking for a double leg takedown. Finnigan defends it nicely.
Finnigan looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights.
That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Nelson Griffon. That's going to take a lot out of him.
Finnigan misses with a few strikes there.
Finnigan tests Griffon's chin there with a solid looking shot.#T2#
Donk. Finnigan catches Griffon right on the button with a cross.
Griffon tries to clinch there but Finnigan circles away.
Finnigan shuffles to his left behind two crisp jabs. Griffon eats them both and turns towards Finnigan to reposition himself and eats a stinging right hand-left hook combo.#ROC2#
Griffon is rocked!
Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show!
Griffon with a poor takedown
and Finnigan counters with a huge left! Griffon is in big trouble! He's backing up but Finnigan isn't giving him chance to recover. Under a barage of punches the ref has to step in to save Griffon from any more damage. A dominating finish by Finnigan!

Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:35 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Negan Finnigan!

Griffon has his takedown stuffed
and Baird counters with a head kick. That will keep Griffon thinking before he tries any more sloppy attacks! #TD2#
