Malone I I I is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Pray with a body shot. Pray shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Malone I I I counters with a straight right hand.#TD# Excellent takedown into side control there by Pray. Malone I I I is not content to let Pray control the position. Malone I I I tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pray wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Malone I I I is pushing Pray's head away, looking to escape. Pray manages to hold on to the position though. Pray tries to score with some ground and pound. Malone I I I controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Pray tries to move to mount but Malone I I I blocks the move with his legs. Pray throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Pray misses with the ground and pound. Malone I I I avoids any damage from the ground and pound of Pray. Malone I I I is trying to buck Pray off. Malone I I I has found himself in a tricky position here. He's been working his transitions in training so let's see if he can work his way out of it.#T1# Pray throwing shots but missing, from side control. Pray lands some shots froms side control. Salvador gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Salvador looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Salvador looks to land a combination. Pray sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#CUT2# It looks like Lay Pray has been cut. Salvador lands with an overhand left. Salvador scores with a nice head shot. Salvador lands a nice looking body shot.

#ROC# Pray is rocked! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pray looking to sweep here. No luck so far. Pray is still in real trouble! Can Buttersnaps finish him? Pray seems to have recovered his senses. Pray has a butterfly guard looking to sweep but Buttersnaps has passed into side control.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Pray is looking to regain half guard here but Buttersnaps keeps moving and retains side control. Pray throws a wild hook but Buttersnaps just manages to duck under it and - ooooh! Pray gets nailed by a brutal uppercut which crumples him back against the cage! The referee jumps in - Buttersnaps raises his hands in celebration and walks away!

Pray pushes Usikov against the cage but Usikov circles to the side and manages to break the clinch. Pray regains full guard. Nicely done. Pray wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Diaz looking to pass the guard. Pray looking to hit a scissor sweep but Diaz is one step ahead there. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Moore is looking for a sweep. Pray is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#SUB# Moore is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Pray pulls his head out easily. Moore is looking to regain full guard. Anderson takes a nasty elbow to the side of the head. Pray in side control lands a nice looking series of punches and elbows. Pray definitely looks more muscular than last time we saw him fight. Anderson tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Pray wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Pray looks up at the clock and then as Anderson takes his cue and looks up at the clock too, Pray smacks him right in the chops with a big elbow! How rude!

That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Pray is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position. Dakhadaev had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Pray defends it easily. Pray stopping the sweep attempt from Dakhadaev. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dakhadaev keeping moving, preventing Pray from controlling successfully.
And that's the end of the fight! Pray wins on points by 14 to 5. Lay Pray was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed. |

#R1# Pray goes for a double leg but Reseke avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Reseke continues to drive forward. Reseke punishes Pray's body with a nice straight punch.#CL2# Pray drives through and clinches with Reseke against the cage.

The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Pray missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. Pray postures up in Reseke's guard and throws a big left but Reseke blocks it. Pray stands up and looks to throw the legs aside to pass to side control. Reseke swivels though and keeps the full guard. Pray has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Pray works to advance to full mount. Reseke defends for a few seconds but eventually he succumbs. Reseke is desperately trying to improve his position but Pray has a good base and remains in mount. Pray landing strikes from the mount and Reseke is in trouble! Pray lands a nice shot to the head. The referee warns Reseke that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
