#R1# Hope Jr dives in for a single leg takedown but Terry sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Terry looks exhausted already! Oh dear, he should have come in in better shape than this! Hope Jr lands a glancing blow to the side of Terry's head.#CUT2# It looks like Brian Terry has been cut. Hope Jr with a jab.#TD# Terry drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hope Jr sneaks back into half guard.#SUB2# Hope Jr looking for submissions off his back.#SUB2# Hope Jr actively working from the bottom here. Terry is trying to control the action in half guard but Hope Jr is working away on the bottom, looking perhaps to get back to full guard. Hope Jr gets back to full guard.
#T1##SUB2# Hope Jr is working actively off his back, looking to secure an arm or perhaps work for a triangle. Hope Jr bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Terry's guard. #REVB##SU2# Hope Jr gets to his feet - Terry follows without any prompting. Hope Jr scores with a nice head shot.#CUT2# Brian Terry's cut is getting worse. Hope Jr throws a head kick that misses. No luck for Hope Jr with that takedown attempt. Jab from Hope Jr. Terry leaves Hope Jr with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Brian Terry has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Billy Hope Jr.#T2# Terry moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. A big right followed by a crushing left from Hope Jr knocks Terry out cold! Ouch - that one's going to be featured in highlight reels for years to come!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:20 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punches). Billy Hope Jr! Billy Hope Jr decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way. Brian Terry spoke after the fight, saying 'He was the better man tonight.'.
