Bush shoots in for a takedown but Solan shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet.#KD# Solan lands a left and a right that send Bush crashing to the mat, dazed. Solan thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet!#ROC# Bush is rocked!#CUT# It looks like Fernandez Bush has been cut.#CL# Solan moves into range and clinches up with Bush.#BC# Solan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Solan needs to keep his hands up - Bush had a free shot at his head there. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here.#CL# Solan pushes Bush up against the cage in a clinch.#TD2# Bush has managed to pull guard. Let's see whether he can work an aggressive guard. It will also be interesting to see what tactics Solan uses from the top position. Solan has decided he wants to stand but the closed guard of Bush is proving hard to escape from. Solan won't allow Bush to sweep him here. Bush manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Solan manages to get himself to full guard.

Bush throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. #T2# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Solan looks like he's trying to stand up.
Bush has been taking part in the yoga sessions down at Arvins Bootcamp. Presumably he's going to look for a slick submission... Or maybe he's looking to avoid one. Bush working over Solan with some ground and pound. Solan looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Bush thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Solan's head. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. A nice right hand lands inside from Solan. #BC# Solan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Bush is defended easily by Solan. Brain Solan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernandez Bush.#T3##CL# Solan fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Bush, pushing him back against the cage. Bush has a body lock and is looking for a takedown. Solan is bouncing around trying to prevent the takedown and somehow he has indeed managed to stay on his feet. Bush looking to slow down the pace here.#BC# Solan's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does. Solan leaves Bush with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt.#CL# Solan closes the distance and pushes Bush back into the cage. Bush is looking for a takedown. The fighters are going at a pretty good pace and they're both starting to sweat now. Bush is trying to drag Solan to the mat but Solan just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Solan looks to throw an elbow but misses. Solan stalls. #BC# Solan breaks the clinch and we return to the middle of the mat. Solan swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Brain Solan dominated that round. The cut man is working on Fernandez Bush's cut. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2##CL# Solan pushes Bush up against the cage in a clinch. Solan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Solan is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Bush can do to turn this around? The pace really dropping off here, momentarily. Solan lands with a short punch from the clinch.
Bush has had enough of the clinch and is looking to separate. Solan tries to land a shot to the body but it's blocked. Bush avoids the elbow strike from Solan, against the cage.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. With the fighters up against the cage, Solan throws an elbow but misses. #BC# Solan pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Solan keeps the fight standing with a nice sprawl. An attempted straight right counter from Solan misses the target.#T1# Bush changes levels and looks for a double leg takedown. Solan tries to avoid it but Bush manages to keep hold of a leg and drag Solan to the ground. Solan escapes though and pops straight back up to his feet. Solan tries to bum rush Bush with a series of wild strikes but Bush uses good footwork to avoid the assault. Bush is trying hard to land a takedown here. Solan sprawls well and keeps this one on the feet. Solan went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Brain Solan has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Fernandez Bush. Sloppy strikes from Solan. Those never looked like landing. Brain Solan seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Solan lands with a right and another and another! Bush is in big trouble! Solan lands again and this time it's lights out for Bush! A quality knockout there for Solan.

Benefits throws a combination that misses and Bush counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Fringe Benefits seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Benefits defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bush. Benefits looks for a takedown here. Will he get it? Bush is fending him off so far but Benefits persists. Nope, Bush circles away and we're back to standing. Benefits has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Bush is landing a low percentage of strikes. Benefits tries for a takedown but Bush sees it coming a mile off and avoids it easily. Bush throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Benefits's waist but Benefits gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Bush off to one side. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Fernandez Bush. That's going to take a lot out of him. Bush dives in for a single leg takedown but Benefits sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Benefits throws a sloppy head kick and Bush moves out of range easily. Bush misses with a takedown attempt - Benefits sprawls well and throws a nice strike on the way out which just misses. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bush looking to control the pace of the fight rather than finish it. Bush bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Benefits's guard. #REVR##T4# Benefits can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Bush controls the pace. Benefits preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Bush is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Bush in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Bush stays in close to Benefits's body and controls the position. Bush missing there with some ground and pound from the guard. That was a close round but I would say that Fernandez Bush will probably get the nod. That's time! Back to the action! #R2# Bush fails with a takedown attempt. The fighters are starting to perspire pretty heavily. Benefits throws a solid leg kick but Bush takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Benefits. Benefits swinging wildly here.

Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. #T1# A real slowdown in the pace of the fight for a moment, as Bush holds on and takes a little breather. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Bush is on top in guard.

Benefits is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Bush is controlling him. #T2# A lull in the action here being met with boos from the crowd. Bush passes Benefits's left leg - he's now in half guard. Bush is figuring out what he wants to do next. Bush seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Benefits for as long as he can get away with.#T3# Bush passes the half guard and he's now in mount! Big trouble for Benefits! Bush controlling the pace for now. Bush misses with a head shot. Benefits blocking the ground and pound. #T4# Bush content just to control the position here. Bush punching from mount but Benefits doing a good job of avoiding damage. Bush looking to control and managing it successfully. Bush has controlled the position for a good 20 seconds, which will no doubt be starting to frustrate his opponent. Bush looking to ground and pound but Benefits is blocking nicely. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Bush throwing sloppy strikes here. Perhaps if he tightened up his striking from such a dominant position, he'd be able to finish easier.
