Robles is looking to control Macgrager's arms but Macgrager gets an underhook and turns him. Now Robles has his back to the cage. Robles jumps guard but Macgrager stands there with Robles around his waist. Robles gives up and drops back to his feet. We remain in the clinch.

#R1##CL2# Robles tries to keep at a distance but Vilco has taken the fight into the clinch.#BC2# Vilco pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Robles checks a leg kick. Vilco misses with a half-hearted attempt at a head kick.
Vilco tries to clinch up. Vilco throws a half hearted mid kick. As Vilco tries to get set, Robles tries to push him back and clinch up but Vilco manages to avoid the attempt. Robles throws a head kick that misses and slips in the process. He scrambles back to his feet and the fighters circle. #TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Robles enables Vilco to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Robles manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Vilco preventing the sweep. Vilco seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. It looks like Vilco might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Robles will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. Spasic lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Robles circles away quickly and effectively. A head kick misses from Spasic. Robles leaves Spasic with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Spasic with a poor takedown and Robles counters with a left and a right that stings Spasic. Robles dives in for a single leg takedown but Spasic sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage.
