#R1# Long fails in his attempt to clinch. A head kick misses from Conor. A telegraphed takedown attempt from Long is defended easily by Conor.#TD# Conor looking for a takedown here - he's got it. Conor lands a couple of digs. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Long had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Conor defends it easily. Conor with a flurry of punches that miss. Conor works over Long with some ground and pound from guard. Long tries to land a sweep but no joy. #T1# Conor is sitting in guard, working some ground and pound. Conor postures up and lands a big shot to Long's brow. Conor is working the ground and pound from guard. He might want to try advancing position though to get more of an impact. Conor engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Long bucks up whilst keeping hold of a body lock, managing to reverse the position. Now he's in top in Conor's guard. #REVB# Conor has Long pulled in close to control his posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Conor is on top in guard.
#REVR# Conor connects with a couple of short punches. Long manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Conor manages to get himself to full guard.
#REVB# Long must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Long looking to pass the guard. Conor is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive.#T2# Conor is pulling down on Long's head to control his posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Conor is on top in guard.
#REVR# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Conor pressing down on his opponent's thigh, looking to pass guard. Long is keeping the position for now. Conor is in close to Long's body, working some short punches and elbows. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Conor's corner is telling him to maintain position. Long looking to control.
Conor pushes down on Long's leg and manages to get into half guard. Conor slips a nice elbow through Long's hands, connecting with Long's forehead. Conor working over Long with some ground and pound. Long looks like he wants out of this position, which is understandable. Long regains full guard. Nicely done. #T3# Conor postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Conor engaging in some classic timewasting tactics. Conor keeps in close for a moment and lands a decent shot to the side of Long's head. Long looks winded! Conor scoring with some ground and pound. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Conor scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Long has momentary wrist control but Conor slips an elbow through the middle. Conor showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Conor slips nicely into half guard. Conor has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. The referee calls for the fighters to work.

Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Long. Conor with shots to the head and body - Long looks very uncomfortable down there. Conor controlling his opponent. Conor looking to ground and pound his opponent to a finish here.
The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Conor unloading with bombs! Conor controlling the position easily from mount. Conor cracks Long with a nasty head shot there - the crowd let out an audible gasp there, as the noise reverberated around the arena.
Conor trying to control but he's not successful this time. Long is trying desperately to improve position. Long takes a big shot to the head but keeps on trying to improve his position. The referee warns Long that he has to improve his position here as he takes two more clean shots to the head.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Mcgregor Conor dominated that round. The referee calls time. The cornermen exit stage left and we're back to business. #R2# Long misses the shot to the body. Long waving his hands out in front of him, looking to distract Conor. Sloppy strikes from Long. Those never looked like landing. #CL# Conor has taken the fight to the clinch.

Conor has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Long is working away from the top position though. Conor looks like he's trying to stand up.

The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Long with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. Conor working Long over with strikes. Conor looking to control but Long is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. #T4# Conor lands an elbow that was bordering on illegal but the referee lets it go with a warning. Conor lands a heavy elbow. The crowd growing excited in anticipation of a finish here! Right on cue, Conor cracks his opponent with a massive right hand that draws loud cheers!
#ROC# Long is rocked! This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Conor is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Long can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Long is still in real trouble! Can Conor finish him? Conor postures up and connects with a big shot that has rocked Long badly. He's trying desperately to grab hold of Conor around the waist but Conor pushes him off and unloads with more strikes, forcing the referee to jump in and save him! Conor is the winner by TKO! Conor jumps onto the cage and shouts into the camera. "We did it momma!"
