#R1# Sai moves forwards but Landings connects with a nice, crisp jab. Sai uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Landings.
#TD2# Sai scores a trip takedown into side control. Nice. Landings tries to get back to half guard but can't. You can see the frustration on Landings's face, being in this tough position on the bottom. Landings gets one leg under and gets the fight to half guard. Landings tries to roll over but Sai keeps him under control. Landings slips a foot under and gets full guard. Nice work. Sai must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Sai won't allow Landings to sweep him here. Sai tries to free his leg and advance position but Landings is retaining full guard. #SUB# Landings has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sai can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #T1# Landings working a defensive guard here.
Landings is going to have to think about doing something other than just controlling because Sai is managing to avoid having the position dictated to him. Sai's corner is telling him to maintain position. It looks like Sai might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Landings is trying to keep Sai in close.

Landings appeared to be looking to counter that last move with a leg kick. Jason Landings is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Landings connects with a looping left hand that seems like it dazed Sai momentarily.

Sai is still on wobbly legs! Can Landings finish him? Landings pivots as if he's going to throw a leg kick but stops half way. Landings misses with a kick to the body and Sai counters with a three punch combo that has Landings backing up. Landings nods at Sai to acknowledge the strikes. Landings fakes a right and follows up with a big left that drops Sai to one knee - oooooh, he's wobbly! Sai looks to clinch but Landings throws him off and pummels him into the canvas! Sai taps out under the strikes! The fight is over!
