Tyler is working Montoya over from the guard. He should look to pass the guard and do a little more damage with these strikes.
Montoya controls Tyler momentarily but Tyler frees himself.
Tyler is looking to work some ground and pound but Montoya has wrist control.

Tyler postures up and lands a big shot to Montoya's brow.
Tyler postures up from his opponent's guard, before exploding into some vicious ground and pound! Montoya covers up, he's hurt! Tyler keeps throwing the strikes, glancing at the referee... Will he stop it?? One more big shot from Tyler and the ref steps in to end the fight! Tyler can't hide his delight as he celebrates with his corner.

Rick Tyler was full of energy after the big win and talked about how he thinks he can do big things in this sport. The crowd were appreciative of his determination to succeed.

Juilio shoots in for a double leg but Montoya sprawls well. That's going to sap some energy.
Montoya is looking for a counter combo.
Montoya feints a jab promting Juilio to slip. Montoya then demonstrates his capabilities by jabbing again. Juilio slips again and ducks right into an uppercut.
Juilio tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Montoya defends well and Juilio ends up having to push Montoya into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch.
Montoya goes for a double leg but Juilio avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Juilio continues to drive forward.
