Ismagilov feints and then dives in with a takedown. That was a long way out but the feint bought him enough time to close the distance and complete the takedown. Now we'll play guard for a bit and see who can get the better of that position.
Cruz can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Ismagilov controls the pace.

He's just covering up now, not defending himself intelligently - Ismagilov looks towards the ref and unloads with 3 more big shots and the ref has no choice but to stop the fight! Cruz can't hide his disappointment, as Ismagilov celebrates the victory.

Cruz walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out!
Cruz ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face.
Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Cruz lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Pelleiter has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Pelleiter and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.

Pelleiter feints and then winds up with a huge right hand that connects perfectly and sends Cruz sprawling to the canvas! Cruz rolls over backwards and springs off the cage and manages to regain his footing - how acrobatic! Oh, he's still wobbly - can Pelleiter finish him?!

Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd.

Pelleiter is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range.
Pelleiter is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Cruz flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Cruz is out cold! Pelleiter holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!
