Christian might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Bayes trying to control the action but Christian is working from the bottom. Christian really is a fat lump. Bayes working away. Christian holds on tight, trying to prevent any damage. Christian gets back to half guard. Joe Bayes dominated that round. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters! Back to the action. #R2##TD2# A momentary lapse in concentration from Christian enables Bayes to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Christian manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat. Bayes trying to stand up but can't free himself from Christian's guard. Christian is in close to Bayes's body, working some short punches and elbows. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Christian scores with a decent looking elbow strike.#T2# Neither fighter has done anything of merit for a good minute or two here and the crowd are not happy about it. Christian works his way into side control. #T4# The crowd are getting on the fighters' backs, as the pace has dropped off in the last minute or so. Bayes tries to buck Christian off but Christian is having none of it. Bayes sneaks back into half guard. Christian is nestled in close to Bayes, controlling him well. He's worked in a nice elbow to the side of the head as well, for good measure. Nice strikes from Christian there. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Christian missing with the ground and pound from half guard. Bayes flails away from the bottom but he's not doing any damage.

#TD2# Bayes shoots in and bounces Christian off the cage to secure the takedown into guard. Bayes trying to control the position from guard on top but Christian is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Bayes must be cautious of submissions here, given that his opponent has the superior Jiu Jitsu. Christian pulls Bayes in to control the position. Patel fails with a takedown attempt. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Patel shoots in and drives through. Bayes sprawls well. Horrible takedown attempt by Bayes or perhaps it was just good defense by Patel, which made it look bad. Patel is looking to counter the offense by Bayes and move into the clinch.#T1##CL2# Bayes closes the distance and presses his opponent up against the cage. Patel jumps guard but his hands slip and he falls flat on his back. Well, he's made himself look a right mug there, as Bayes walks away with a smile on his face. Patel gets slowly back to his feet and shakes his head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Isidro Patel. That's going to take a lot out of him. Patel defends well against a solid takedown attempt from Bayes. Bayes throws a series of strikes that have Patel backpedaling.
Bayes lands a hook that stumbles Patel back into the cage. Bayes follows up with a straight and another hook that land right on the button, dropping Patel to the canvas! Bayes pounces and lands several unanswered shots - Patel has had enough and taps out! This one is all over!
