Coming up we have a heavyweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Wade Ween and Dumb Dumb. Both fighters really staring each other down here, as Dumb Dumb enters the cage!
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the heavyweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Wade Ween! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Montreal, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Dumb Dumb! The judges for this bout are Dillan Fox, Steve Smith and Yves DeLean.
The official calls the fighters to the middle and the contest is under way. Ween has Dumb up against the cage in a clinch.
Ween fails to pull the fight into his guard.
Dumb has Ween pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Ween manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Dumb is working on a single leg takedown against the cage. Ween can't fight it off and eventually Dumb manages to take the fight to the floor. Ween looks annoyed but at least he's managed to land in guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: Ween (0) vs (2) Dumb We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Ween looking for a guillotine here but Dumb defends easily.
Dumb trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Dumb is still trying to improve position. Dumb seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up.
That's one minute gone in the round. Ween escapes his hips to the side and looks to be working for an armbar. Dumb gives him a little smile and shakes his head. No chance. Dumb controls from within his opponent's guard. It looks like Dumb might be adopting somewhat of a lay and pray gameplan here, which I'm sure won't go down too well with the paying fans in attendance... Or the ring announcers come to think of it. Dumb trying to control the position from guard on top but Ween is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can.
That's two minutes gone in the round. Ween seems keen to control Dumb's posture. Ween has his foot on Dumb's thigh. He's trying to push off and get in position for a triangle, I think. Dumb works his way back into a safe position though. Dumb tries to free his leg and advance position but Ween is retaining full guard. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Ween is on top in guard.

That's three minutes gone in the round. Dumb is throwing his legs up, looking for submissions. Ween is aware though and is defending well. Ween trying to control but Dumb is working from the bottom. Dumb wants to sweep here but Ween controlling him for the moment. Ween wants to control from the top but Dumb keeps moving. Dumb pulls Ween in close to prevent any damage. Dumb is trying to control the position but Ween postures up.

That's five minutes gone in the round. Dumb looking to hit a scissor sweep but Ween is one step ahead there. Dumb keeping moving, preventing Ween from controlling successfully. Ween could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Ween advances to half guard. Dumb is looking for a sweep. Ween is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Dumb felt the need to train up his defensive grappling in the buildup to the fight. Presumably he was expecting to be in a difficult position like this, so let's see if he can get out of it. Dumb is trying is best to control the position here.
That's six minutes gone in the round. Dumb tries to roll over but Ween keeps him under control. Ween is trying to control. Dumb wants to improve his position but can't escape this time. Dumb wants to control but Ween is keeping busy.
Ween frees up his trapped foot and advances to mount. Score +3 for passing guard: Ween (5) vs (2) Dumb Dumb tries to reverse the position but Ween maintains control. Dumb tries to hold on but Ween pushes him away.
That's seven minutes gone in the round. Ween looking to control but Dumb is working nicely, looking to advance position himself. Dumb tries to reverse the position but Ween maintains control. Dumb is trying to reverse the position but instead Ween has taken his back - oops! Score +3 for taking back: Ween (8) vs (2) Dumb Dumb wants to escape the position but for the time being he's just trying to control the pace. Dumb breaks Ween's hooks off and manages to turn into his guard.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Dumb wants to pass the guard but Ween is defending well.
That's nine minutes gone in the round. Dumb looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

That's ten minutes gone in the round. Ween has no desire to be mounted, so is trying to control. Dumb is working away from the top position though. Dumb trying to control the pace. Ween actively working from the bottom here.

Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Dumb in particular looking to stall.

Dumb tries to slip a leg under to move to half guard but Ween presses down on the leg and jumps into full mount! Score +2 for reaching mount: Ween (15) vs (4) Dumb Dumb is wriggling around trying to escape.
That's fourteen minutes gone in the round. Ween avoids the attempt from Dumb to control. Dumb slips a leg in and gets back to half guard. Ween prevents Dumb from improving his position. Ween is looking to stall here but Dumb recovers full guard. Ween being controlled here momentarily. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out! Dumb had isolated an arm as going for a kimura. Ween defends it easily.
