Bear is looking to stand up but Ismagilov isn't so interested in that idea. Ismagilov lands a couple of decent looking shots. Ismagilov looking to pass the guard. Bear working the defensive guard well to avoid strikes from Ismagilov. Ismagilov throws an elbow that misses. Bear uses the momentum to reverse the position. He's now in Ismagilov's guard. Nice move by Bear!#REVR# We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Bear wants to get up but he can't break Ismagilov's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. Ismagilov might have to switch it up a bit here because his efforts to control Bear haven't been going to plan, at least at the current moment in time. Bear is breathing heavily.#TD2# Ismagilov decides to change it up a bit and drives through with a nice takedown into half guard. Ismagilov works his foot free and advances to mount. Ismagilov is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Bear can't stay in a position like this for much longer.

#R1##TD# Bear gets a takedown into half guard. Bear seems to have lost interest with the ground game and is thinking about standing back up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Golovkin tries to kick Bear off but Bear keeps his base steady and stays in half guard. Golovkin is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first. Golovkin is refusing to be controlled, as Bear sits in half guard. Bear stops Golovkin from getting back to his feet.
It looks like Bear is going to stand back up.
