#R1# Shaumburg shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Stoner pinned against the cage. Stoner gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. Shaumburg will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts.#CL2# Stoner clinches with his opponent.
Stoner is defending well against a takedown attempt. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Bobby Shaumburg. That's going to take a lot out of him. A body shot lands from Stoner.
Shaumburg has Stoner pressed up against the cage and is working for takedown. Stoner manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. Stoner lands a nice shot to the body. Shaumburg is breathing heavily. The fighters are pressed against the cage, as the pace of the fight slows. Stoner lands with a light punch inside. Stoner is leaning against Shaumburg and scores with a nice uppercut to the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Stoner works for underhooks and lands a body shot in the process.
Still in the clinch, Stoner scores with a nice short uppercut. Stoner is working Shaumburg over against the cage. Stoner presses Shaumburg against the cage and delivers a mid-strength body shot. Stoner working some nice short punches in the clinch. Stoner lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Shaumburg to his knees! Stoner keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
