#R1##CL# Scepter has taken the fight to the clinch.
Heughan lands an elbow inside. Heughan throws a hook to the body. More of an arm punch but it's all scoring with the judges. Heughan lands with a left to the head. Heughan lands with a quick shot inside that doesn't really do much damage. Heughan lands a damaging elbow. Scepter struggles to land a body shot inside as Heughan controls his hands.
Both fighters working to control the clinch. Scepter goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Scepter tried to land a shot to the body but connects with Heughan's elbow. Heughan lands an elbow just above Scepter 's eye. Heughan softening up his opponent with strikes, against the cage. Scepter is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Heughan is keeping busy. A nice glancing elbow lands by Heughan. #CUT2# It looks like Aghanims Scepter has been cut. The crowd cheering loudly, showing their appreciation for the quality fight we're seeing here. Heughan scores with a hook to the body. A nice left hand lands by Heughan.
#ROC2# Scepter is rocked! Scepter misses with a shot to the kidneys.
Oh Scepter is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Heughan lands a hook to the side of the head. Scepter tries to stall but Heughan uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Scepter misses with a hook from the clinch. Heughan lands an uppercut in the clinch that drops Scepter to his knees! Heughan keeps firing more shots against his stricken opponent and the referee jumps in to save him!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:57 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Daniel Heughan! Daniel Heughan decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.
