Cannon using the Thai plumb to throw knees but Salik has his back arched nicely, preventing the strike.

Cannon takes a knee to the side of the body. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Cannon goes for a body shot but it's blocked.
Cannon is trying to break the clinch but Salik is controlling him. Salik tries to land a knee to the body but he is off balance and Cannon avoids it.#TD# Cannon jumps guard and drags Salik to the mat. He's obviously going to be looking for submissions off his back.
