Nizzola swings wildly with an uppercut but Pappalardo uses good head movement to avoid it. Nizzola tries a shoulder strike but it doesn't do any damage. Nizzola doesn't land with the attempted body shot.
Pappalardo lands a right uppercut that snaps the head of Nizzola backwards. Nizzola throws a head punch that misses. Pappalardo stays in close to his opponent and throws a right hand to the body. Pappalardo lands a shot to the body. Pappalardo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. A left hand lands to the body for Pappalardo.

#R1# Kaka slips a straight right by Nizzola. Kaka ducks under an overhand right and circles away with a smile on his face. Kaka tries a counter takedown but it's more of a dummy move, and he uses it to push himself away. Kaka keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
#TD2# Kaka closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Nizzola regains half guard. Kaka throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Nizzola tries to roll over but Kaka keeps him under control. Kaka misses with a head shot. Nizzola uses the momentum to regain guard. Kaka throwing elbows and punches but not connecting, as Nizzola works some decent striking defense from the bottom. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Nizzola is trying to control the position from the bottom.
Nizzola has Kaka pulled in close to control his posture. There's a bit of a scramble here and now Nizzola is on top in guard.

The referee is keeping an eye on Lobowsky - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.
Nizzola is trying to pull guard but Lobowsky has him pressed against the cage. A head punch blocked on the inside by Lobowsky. Lobowsky lands a shoulder strike. #BC2# Lobowsky breaks the clinch and we're back to striking at distance.
#CL2# Nizzola tries to keep at a distance but Lobowsky has taken the fight into the clinch. Nizzola tries to throw a body punch but Lobowsky avoids it by throwing Nizzola back against the cage. Lobowsky taking a break, stalling in the clinch.
#TD2# Nizzola is fighting off a takedown attempt but Lobowsky is just too persistent for him and manages to trip Nizzola to the mat. Nizzola regains guard as soon as the fighters hit the mat. Lobowsky stopping the sweep attempt from Nizzola. Nizzola manages to sweep nicely, so he's now on top. Lobowsky manages to get himself to full guard.
