#CUT# It looks like Eshael Loheis has been cut. Khaliev lands a vicious shot with the stealth of a sniper and the strength of a viper. Are vipers that strong? I can think of lots of things that are stronger than a viper - not many rhyme with sniper though.
#KD# Khaliev cracks Loheis with a big right hand and Loheis goes down!#ROC# Loheis is rocked!#CUT# That has opened up Eshael Loheis's cut even more. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Loheis wants to stand up but Khaliev is controlling him. Loheis is still in real trouble! Can Khaliev finish him? Khaliev trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. Khaliev is in a tricky position. We've heard reports from his gym mates at Academy for Advanced Ass-Whippery that he's been drilling escapes, so let's see if he can get back to his feet. Loheis being controlled here, momentarily. Loheis seems to have recovered his senses. Khaliev passes into half guard. Khaliev perhaps working for something from half guard, or maybe not. It looks like he's just sitting there. #SUB# Khaliev looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Perhaps he's just using it as a distraction technique.

#R1# Hagert dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Loheis. That did some damage!#TD2# Loheis changes levels and drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Hagert looks really pissed at himself for not defending that better. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Loheis working the ground and pound but he's contacting the mat, not the fighter. Hagert struggling a bit here. Loheis wants to control but Hagert is keeping him busy. Hagert is positioning himself to get back to half guard. Loheis throwing ground and pound but whilst doing so, he forgets to control position and Hagert works his way back to half guard. Good composure under pressure. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hagert is trying to stand.

Hagert stooping low to avoid any incoming strikes and then lunges in with an uppercut come cross that lands flush. Boom, another hit is landed. "You're gunna get knocked out" taunts Hagert, as that shot connected.

The crowd cheers as Hagert lands an impressive looking overhand right. Loheis doesn't seem phased though.#CUT# That has opened up Eshael Loheis's cut even more. Hagert lands with a nice body kick. Hagert is using his reach advantage well here, landing the more effective single shots from range. Loheis walks straight into an uppercut. Luckily it didn't land flush. Hagert getting the better of the striking in that exchange. Loheis sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs. Hagert is really peppering his opponent's head with punches. Hagert digs a good hook to Loheis's body.

Halo seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. Halo lands a couple of digs. Halo postures up and scores with a shot to the body and a follow up elbow to the head. Halo connects with a couple of short punches. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Halo scores with a decent looking elbow strike. Loheis is looking to get back to his feet but can't, whilst Halo is controlling him. Halo pushing down on Loheis's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Halo winds up and cracks Loheis with a swinging punch to the side of the head. #T1# Loheis is looking to escape. Halo is taking a breather. Loheis says something to him but it's hard to make out. #R1##CL# Pacheco darts in and clinches Loheis up against the cage. Loheis is trying to pull guard but Pacheco has him pressed against the cage. Loheis wants a takedown.
#TD2# Loheis manages to pull guard.
Loheis preventing the ground and pound from doing any damage. Pacheco working some ground and pound from guard but it's not doing any damage. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Pacheco throwing shots from guard but he's hitting more mat than opponent. A big thud reverberates around the arena there as Pacheco accidentally thumps the mat. Hopefully he's not broken his hand. #SU# Pacheco gets to his feet and steps away from his opponent. Pacheco tries to clinch but is not successful on this occasion. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#CL2# Loheis has closed the distance and engaged Pacheco in a clinch.
#TD2# Loheis tightens his grip and picks Pacheco up, before dumping him to the ground. Pacheco manages to land in guard. Loheis throws a strike but Pacheco rolls with it and manages to sweep. Loheis wants to stand up but Pacheco is controlling him. #ES2# Loheis kicks Pacheco off and gets to his feet. Pacheco fails in his attempt to clinch. Loheis swings away with a counter right hand but no contact made. The fight stays on the outside here - Pacheco looks like he's thinking about clinching though.
