#R1# Fyfe leaves Stokes with his face pressed against the mat as he sprawls beautifully, defending against a solid takedown attempt. Stokes will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Fyfe feints and then cracks Stokes's leading leg with a nice low kick. He's obviously looking to slow Stokes down. Stokes tries to score a power double leg takedown but Fyfe sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Stokes somewhat. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Huey Stokes. That's going to take a lot out of him. Stokes shoots in with a takedown attempt and he has Fyfe pinned against the cage. Fyfe gets the underhooks and manages to circle away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Fyfe throws a right hand that Stokes ducks under and follows up with a left that Stokes also avoids with ease.#TD2# Fyfe gets the takedown into side control. #T1##SUB2# Fyfe in side control, working for a kimura. He's got hold of an arm and he's torquing it... Stokes is tapping! That's the end of the fight!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 1:22 of round 1, we have a winner by way of Submission (Kimura). Mick Fyfe!
