Lawrence throws a sloppy body shot
and Kassad counters with a quick right hand to the jaw.#CL# The fight moves into the clinch position. Lawrence 's corner are urging him to control the action in the clinch for a moment, rather than mount any serious offense. I'm sure the crowd appreciate those instructions... not. Kassad takes a shot to the head. Kassad tries for a takedown but Lawrence manages to get underhooks.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kassad tries to pull guard but can't drag his opponent to the mat. Lawrence just stands there and leans against the cage. Lawrence lands a body shot in the clinch.

Johnny Lawrence has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Muhammad Kassad. Lawrence pushes Kassad back against the cage and lands a hook to the side of the head. Lawrence lands a hook to the body. It's hard to tell if that hurt Kassad or not. Kassad looks winded! Kassad's head jolts backwards as he takes an uppercut right on the button! Lawrence lands a nice shot to the body. Lawrence leaning his opponent against the cage. Lawrence lands a nice looking hook to the body, against the cage. Lawrence lands with a right to the head. Kassad tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.

Kassad is still on wobbly legs! Can Lawrence finish him? We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Lawrence leaning his opponent against the cage. Kassad is working for takedown but Lawrence is calmly controlling the position for now. Lawrence pushes Kassad against the cage. Lawrence is working some dirty boxing. Lawrence pushes off with a quick right hook! Kassad goes down! Kassad tries to stand but stumbles back to his kness! Lawrence moves in to finish and the ref steps in to prevent any more damage!

Johnny Lawrence decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

#R1##CL# Kant takes the fight into the clinch. A short right from Kant. Still in the clinch, Kant scores with a nice short uppercut. Kassad jumps guard but Kant turns him against the cage and keeps the fight standing. Kassad tries to jump guard but he falls flat on his backside. Kant smiles and moves away.
Kant throws an overhand right that lands on Kassad's shoulder, as Kassad tries to avoid the shot. Kant looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Kant cracks a nice hook into Kassad's ribs. Kant misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Kassad.
Despite the aggression on Kassad's face he doesn't fully commit to the counter. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Kant misses the shot to the body. Kant misses with a jab to the body
and Kassad counters with a flying knee. Nice. Kassad bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Kant moves out of the way of the counter high kick fromKassad.#T1##CL# Kant has managed to clinch.

#R1# Kassad works the jab nicely.#CL2# Pancho fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Kassad, pushing him back against the cage. Pancho should think about turning a few of those tyres round his middle into muscle if he wants people to take him seriously as an athlete.#TD# Kassad manages to pull guard. Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Kassad is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent. Pancho postures up in Kassad's guard and throws a big left but Kassad blocks it. Pancho is frustrating his opponent with some stalling tactics from top position.#SUB# Pancho is sitting in close to Kassad's body. Kassad has gone for a guillotine from the bottom. Oh damn, that looks pretty tight! Pancho is panicking - it looks like this one could be all over! Yes, Pancho is tapping! That was a very nice submission by Kassad.

#R1##TD2# Sabi bobs and weaves into range and then changes levels and scores with a nice takedown into side control. Kassad struggling a bit here. Kassad is positioning himself to get back to half guard. #SU2# Sabi stands up and beckons Kassad to his feet. #TD2# Sabi feints and as Kassad raises his hands in defense, Sabi changes levels and drives through with a takedown into guard. Sabi is standing up over Kassad. Kassad looks to escape but Sabi dives into side control.
#REVR# Sabi trying to control the position but Kassad is working away. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Kassad tries to improve position but can't. #SUB2# Sabi thinks about going for a far side armbar but bails out and retains the dominant position instead. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Sabi working away.#T1# Kassad tries to improve position but can't. A lull in the action here. Kassad tries to work a leg under to get back to half guard but Sabi wriggles his own leg back out and remains in side control. Kassad is working hard here to advance position. Kassad manages to get back to half guard. Kassad tries to roll over but Sabi keeps him under control. Sabi controlling the pace. Kassad trying to control from the bottom.

Sabi sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. #SUB2# Sabi working to secure an arm triangle but it's not happening for him just yet. Kassad tries to reverse the position but Sabi maintains control. Kassad is squirming around, avoiding Sabi's attempts to control the action. #T4# Sabi controlling from the full mount. Kassad is just holding on here. Sabi manages to take his back.
Kassad tries to escape the position - he's now mounted. Is that better or worse? Hard to tell! The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Kassad is looking to get to half guard. Sabi scoring with strikes but Kassad is staying in there. #SUB2# Sabi is thinking about an arm triangle here, looking to tighten it up before moving to side control. Kassad can see it coming though and defends well with a couple of strikes to the head and some good arm positioning.

Sabi is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position.#SUB# Kassad is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Sabi pulls his head out easily. #SUB# Kassad actively working from the bottom here. Sabi looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Kassad with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position. #T1# Sabi is figuring out what he wants to do next.#SUB2# Sabi is trying to work for a kimura. This could be trouble! No, Kassad has managed to free his arm - good work. Sabi takes advantage of the dominant position to land a couple of big hammer fists. Kassad tries to roll over but Sabi keeps him under control. Sabi scores with a couple of good hammerfists. Kassad manages to get to full guard.
#SUB2# Sabi is trying to work a guillotine from the top, or something like that? Don't know how he thinks he's going to get a finish from there. #SUB# Kassad has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Sabi can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. #T2##SUB# Kassad has his feet on Sabi's thighs here. He's pushed Sabi off and worked for a very quick armbar from the bottom! He's flipped onto his stomach and he's cranking hard on the arm! Sabi screams in pain and taps out! This one is all over!
