#R1# Ludwig fakes a couple of low kicks, before throwing one on the third attempt. It connects and Sol has to reset his feet before getting ready to engage. Sol darts in looking for a takedown but Ludwig gets double underhooks and turns Sol into the cage. Ludwig lands with a nice low kick. That'll leave a bruise. Ludwig fakes the leg kick and cracks Sol in the body. Ludwig throws an overhand right that lands on Sol's shoulder, as Sol tries to avoid the shot. Sol is definitely looking for the counter takedowns here. We've been hearing reports that Ludwig has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Ludwig lands with a kick to the temple. Sol shrugs as if to say "is that all you've got?" #CUT# It looks like Milan Sol has been cut. Ooooh, nice body kick lands from Ludwig. Sol shrugs it off though. Ludwig follows up with strikes from the mount that forces the ref to step in and stop the fight!

The Ghost went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected. Carlos The Ghost has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. Sol tries to sprawl out of it but The Ghost keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Sol manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing. Sol looks for a takedown but The Ghost sprawls well. It looked like The Ghost was looking amped, ready to throw a big counter but didn't commit. Milan Sol has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! #CUT# It looks like Milan Sol has been cut. Aei is defending well against a takedown attempt. Dali Aei has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Milan Sol. Aei lands an elbow inside that Sol shrugs off. Aei has been talking about how he's improved his wrestling in the run up to the fight so let's see if that's enough to sway the balance. Sol is trying to pull guard but Aei has him pressed against the cage. Sol avoiding damage as Aei throws knees to the body.

We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Sol drops down looking for an ankle pick but Aei pulls his leg out and moves away.
Sol shoots in looking for a takedown but Aei manages to keep the fight standing, pushing Sol's face into the canvas for good measure before circling away. Aei lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Sol circles away quickly and effectively. The crowd show their appreciation for the escape. Sturgis dives in for a single leg takedown but Sol sprawls and the fighters end up clinched against the cage. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Sol. Sturgis throws a right hand that Sol ducks under and follows up with a left that Sol also avoids with ease. Nice takedown defense from Sturgis. No joy for Sol on that attempt. Sturgis is trying to close the distance and clinch up, after that failed offence from Sol. No luck for Sturgis with that takedown attempt. Sol shoots in for a takedown but Sturgis shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Sol missing with some ground and pound from the half guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Sol works his way into side control.
