#R1# Chase takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Viking lands a nice looking body shot.
Viking cracks Chase with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Viking swings away but doesn't land with a series of punches.

Chase shakes his hands off, looking to compose himself, but takes a jab to the jaw whilst he does it. Viking connects with a body shot. Chase has his head slapped from side to side by a 3 punch combination. That must have hurt him.#ROC# Chase is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! Viking scores with a nice strike. Chase is still on wobbly legs! Can Viking finish him? Viking cracks Chase with a good shot that sees him stumbling back into the cage. Nice body punch from Viking. #T1# Viking paws at his opponent with the jab and then lunges in with a straight, right on the button. Techno Viking is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Viking smiles there as he lands a nice right hand right on the button. Viking stuns Chase with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range.#KD# Viking lands a left and a right that send Chase crashing to the mat, dazed. Viking thinks about following him to the mat but decides to wave him back up to his feet! We've been told by Viking's head coaches at Heavy Metal that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Chase takes a body punch but keeps moving. Chase takes a shot right to the liver - Bas would have been proud of that punch. Chase shoots for a takedown but Viking saw that one coming a mile off and avoided it easily. A shot to the liver by Viking. Beautiful body shot. Viking lands a jab to the nose. Nice uppercut lands for Viking. That snapped Chase's head back.
Chase throws a looping left and ducks down for a takedown. He's got his arms around Viking's waist but Viking gets an underhook and avoids the takedown by throwing Chase off to one side. Viking swung with a counter right hand that didn't connect.#T2# A jab lands there for Viking.#KD# Viking sends Chase crashing to the mat with a devastating uppercut! Viking is motioning to the referee to let Chase up. He wants to try and finish this one on the feet! Viking walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Chase drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Viking swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Chase's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:21 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Techno Viking! Techno Viking decided to go for the less than humble approach in his post fight interview, telling everyone how he is going to conquer the world. The crowd seemed to like it when really that sort of approach could have gone either way.

Shann's corner calls for a 1-2. Shann obliges with the 1 part as he scores the single shot and moves back out of range. Shann rushes Chase and starts throwing punches like they are going out of style! Chase is up against the cage and has nowhere to go. Shann piles on the pressure and Chase crumples to the floor! This one is all over!

#R1# Chase wants to clinch up but Ikuhisa keeps it at a distance. Chase shoots in for a takedown but doesn't get it. Chase darts in looking for a takedown but Ikuhisa gets double underhooks and turns Chase into the cage. #TD# Ikuhisa tries to sprawl but Chase drives through with a takedown into half guard. Chase seems very keen to just sit and control from half guard but Ikuhisa does not like that idea so much and is remaining active off his back. Ikuhisa is a painfully thin specimen of a man. You do wonder whether a good body kick would snap him clean in two.#SUB# Chase wants to work for an arm triangle but Ikuhisa is really keeping half guard well and defending the submission attempt.
Chase is pressing down on Ikuhisa's thigh, looking to free his foot. Ikuhisa is holding on for now. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB# Chase looking for a kimura but he'll have to free his other leg if he wants to finish that. Jordan wants to get up but he can't break Chase's closed guard. He needs to be careful trying to break the legs open, as he's open to submissions here. #SUB# Jordan drops back for a leg!
