Coming up we have a middleweight Tycoon World Grappling Championship rules bout between Rashid Magomedov (ranked 22445 p4p, 827 weight class) and Bobbie Buck Crawford (ranked 8916 p4p, 608 weight class). Magomedov comes to the cage accompanied by Bad and Boujee. The crowd giving both fighters a great reception on their way into the arena. That's good to see.
This TWGC bout is 1 fifteen minute round in the middleweight division. Introducing today's competitors. In the red corner, competing out of Hilo, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Rashid Magomedov! And in the blue corner, fighting out of Rio de Janeiro, with a TWGC record of 0 wins and 0 losses; Bobbie Buck Crawford ! The judges for this bout are Elvis Blanc, Gregory Folan and Dillan Fox.
The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. Magomedov darts in and clinches Crawford up against the cage. Magomedov drops down looking for an ankle pick but Crawford pulls his leg out and moves away.

Cosola stuns Magomedov with a nice body shot, before stepping back out of range. Magomedov fails with a takedown attempt. Cosola jabs Magomedov to the body, keeping him at a distance. A low kick from Magomedov is predictable there and Cosola makes him pay by landing a thudding low kick. Cosola lunges at Magomedov with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Magomedov's hand. Cosola lands with a nice body punch. Magomedov will have to do better than that with his takedown attempts. Cosola uses good footwork to get in and out, landing a nice hook. Cosola scores with a leg kick.
This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Magomedov has his takedown stuffed enabling Cosola to counter with a crisp jab. Michael Cosola has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Rashid Magomedov. letting Magomedov counter with a right hand. Pariyar does a little shimmy and throws a leg kick. The leg kick missed by a considerable margin though, making him look a little bit silly for doing the shimmy. #TD# Pariyar dives in and scores a takedown into Magomedov's guard. Magomedov is looking to stand up but Pariyar isn't so interested in that idea. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Pariyar sneaks a leg through and gets to half guard. That was like a knife through butter how easily he passed Magomedov's guard. Pariyar content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Magomedov is trying to stand back up but Pariyar is controlling him

Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Carver throws a hook to the side of Magomedov's head but Magomedov sees it coming and ducks under it beautifully. Jack Carver seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Magomedov ducks under a wild hook from Carver. Carver misses with a low kick. Magomedov was looking to counter that move with a punch but didn't quite pull the trigger. Magomedov steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Carver. Whack! Carver lands a heavy head kick that drops Magomedov. The ref tackles Carver to stop the fight - a great save by the referee because Magomedov was done.

Gracie moves out of range as Magomedov strikes. Gracie was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Gracie throws a solid leg kick but Magomedov takes the impact on his shin and smiles at Gracie. Gracie tries a low kick but Magomedov avoids it.#T1# A low kick from Gracie misses and Magomedov counters with a right hand to the body. Magomedov tries to land with a swinging hook to the body but Gracie was well out of range. Poor timing from Magomedov. Gracie was about to counter that last move with a leg kick but changes his mind. Michaels fails with the takedown and Magomedov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Michaels tries for a takedown but Magomedov circles away easily and Magomedov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Michaels misses with a takedown and Magomedov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaun Michaels. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michaels wants to clinch. #R1# We've got one fighter who appears to only be looking to counter and the other not looking particularly aggressive either, so we could be in for a dull fight. Hyde tries to clinch but fails miserably letting Magomedov counter with a right hand. #CUT2# It looks like Donnell Hyde has been cut.#TD# Hyde shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Magomedov manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Magomedov wants to get back to his feet but Hyde passes into half guard.

Rios postures up to throw the ground and pound strikes but they don't connect. Magomedov wants to get back to his feet but Rios is in a dominant position and won't allow it. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Magomedov can do anything to dispel that myth. Rios controls from within his opponent's guard. Magomedov wants to stand up but Rios is controlling him. Rios is just sitting in guard, looking to avoid any submissions. Magomedov is looking to stand up but Rios isn't so interested in that idea. The referee is pacing around the two fighters - he looks like he's thinking about a standup. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Magomedov is really turning it up, unleashing another crisp combination which drops Rios like a ton of bricks! The referee dives in to stop the fight, saving Rios from another fist facial!
