Ichi takes a nasty kick to the mid section... That should keep him thinking. Does he try and block and risk a head kick landing?
Ichi sees a low kick coming and goes to check it, but it's actually a body kick and it thuds into his unprotected ribs.
That's a knee to de groin and it's over and out! Ichi crumples to the ground after an illegal strike from Stavros - the referee stops the clock and Ichi gets 5 minutes to recover from that one. "I'm sorry" says Stavros. Ichi manages to get back to his feet and the fight resumes.
Ichi shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Stavros as he avoids it easily.
And an attempted straight right on the counter from Stavros! But no joy.

That was a close second round but I would say that Shin Ichi will probably get the nod.

Ichi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Balls.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ichi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.
