Ellis's coach down at Island Top Team was telling us pre-fight that they have been working on Ellis's balance. Obviously they view that as a key factor in the outcome of this fight.

Massiwan pushes Ellis back against the cage and unloads with a body punch.
Massiwan lands a big knee to the head and Ellis goes down! Massiwan pounces and finishes the fight with strikes! He jumps to his feet and celebrates with the crowd!

McNee digs a good hook to Ellis's body.
McNee scores with a nice strike.
McNee tries a head kick but it misses.
Ellis attempts a counter takedown but McNee avoids it well and moves away.
McNee's jab looks to have found its range, popping Ellis under the eye.
TJ McNee seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
McNee throws a lazy uppercut #TD#
and Ellis counters with a shoot takedown into half guard. #ES2#
McNee makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work!

McNee lands hard precision jab right on the jaw that stiffens Ellis up and sends him tumbling to the mat! The ref grabs McNee from behind before he can pounce. Some folks in the crowd didn't like that stoppage, but I saw Ellis's eyes roll way back in his head, he was done.

A momentary lapse in concentration from Ellis enables Halo to shoot in and score with a neat double leg. Ellis manages to secure a closed guard as the fighters hit the mat.
Halo trying to land body shots but he keeps hitting the mat.

Ellis is working from a closed guard but he's struggling to control his opponent.
Ellis wants to stand up but Halo is controlling him.
