#R1# Shadow Hunter tries to move into range but Russo moves to the side and lands with a nice right hand. No luck for Shadow Hunter with that takedown attempt. Russo lands a jab to the nose. Shadow Hunter staying out of range there. Shadow Hunter tries to counter by moving into the clinch but Russo manages to circle out of the way. Russo swings for the body but Shadow Hunter moves out of range.
Shadow Hunter is looking to counter the offense by Russo and move into the clinch. Russo misses with an uppercut. Russo looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Russo lands a glancing blow to the side of Shadow Hunter's head.#TD# Shadow Hunter drives through with a really nice takedown into side control. Shadow Hunter tries to score with some ground and pound. Russo controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage. Shadow Hunter creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Russo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. We've been hearing that Shadow Hunter has been drilling a lot of ground and pound in training, so let's see if he get the finish. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Russo parries the strikes from Shadow Hunter easily there. Shadow Hunter is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Russo to escape.
Shadow Hunter landing a few strikes. #CUT# It looks like Edwin Russo has been cut.#T1# Shadow Hunter throws a strike aimed at the side of Russo's head but Russo avoids it well. Russo defending against the ground and pound. Shadow Hunter throws a knee to the body but it doesn't do much damage. Shadow Hunter creates some space and throws a big elbow, but Russo sees it coming and moves his head just enough to avoid the strike. Shadow Hunter throwing shots but missing, from side control. Shadow Hunter scoring with punches from side control. #ROC# Russo is rocked! Shadow Hunter scores with a big shot from side control... and another... and another! Oh Russo is done here - save him referee! More strikes land and eventually the ref does step in and Shadow Hunter can finally stop beating on his defenseless opponent!

#R1# A jab from Sharpshooter does it's job there.#CUT# It looks like Edwin Russo has been cut. Sharpshooter misses with a few strikes there.
Sharpshooter moves in looking to clinch but Russo pushes him off.#CL# Sharpshooter gets to the clinch - let's see what his plan is here. Sharpshooter scores with an uppercut up the middle. Russo blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Sharpshooter lands with a left to the head. Sharpshooter tries a body shot but Russo blocks it.
Sharpshooter lands a shoulder strike. #ROC# Russo is rocked! Sharpshooter unloads with a big right hand that wobbles Russo! He's leaning against the cage trying to keep his feet but Sharpshooter is unloading with more strikes now! Russo drops to his knees and the referee stops the fight for a TKO!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:33 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Strikes). Rick Sharpshooter! In his post fight interview, Rick Sharpshooter started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
