#R1# Pain throws a right hand that Van Der Merwe ducks under and follows up with a left that Van Der Merwe also avoids with ease.#TD2# Van Der Merwe throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Pain was covering up waiting for the punch and Van Der Merwe finishes the takedown easily into guard. Van Der Merwe throwing strikes from guard but Pain blocks nicely. Van Der Merwe is looking to work some ground and pound but Pain has wrist control.#SUB2# Van Der Merwe drops back for a leg! It's a sloppy attempt though and Van Der Merwe jumps back into guard quickly, to retain the dominant position. Van Der Merwe trying to control but Pain is working from the bottom.
