Geisler throws an uppercut from half a mile away. Princip sees it coming and avoids it easily. Geisler misses with a kick to the body.
Wow, both these guys are really going for it! Geisler takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming. Princip throws a wild combination but nothing lands. Geisler misses with a wild body shot. Princip scores with a hook. This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff! Geisler looks shocked there as he takes a right hand to the temple. We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Sousa has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat. Sousa scores with an uppercut up the middle.#TD2# Sousa gets a nice trip takedown into half guard. We could do with one of the fighters taking the initiative a bit more on the ground - they're both waiting to capitalize on a mistake. Geisler blocking the ground and pound attempt from Sousa. Sousa throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Sousa wants to free his trapped foot but Geisler is holding on for dear life with his legs. Neither fighter is being very active at the moment, with Sousa in particular looking to stall. Geisler keeping his head moving to avoid the ground and pound. Sousa wants to pass to mount but Geisler is defending the position. Sousa seems to be taking a bit of a break to think of his next move.
