Fed parries the strikes from Deathgrip easily there. Deathgrip is wary of posturing up too much because it might enable Fed to escape.

The ground and pound from Deathgrip seems to be hitting the mat more than his opponent.

And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Fed pushes Deathgrip off looking to stand but Deathgrip dives back in and keeps control.
The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.
Deathgrip drops an elbow to the side of Fed's head.
Deathgrip looks towards his corner to check for any instructions. The corner give him nothing to work with, so he cracks Fed with a short hammerfist. I guess that's as good as any advice he could get in this position.
Deathgrip is controlling the pace.
Let's hope that Deathgrip has the urge to step up the pace any second now because for the last 15 or 20 seconds he's just been holding on tight.

This is a great period of action - very entertaining stuff!
Deathgrip lands a shot to the body, followed up by a shot to the exposed head of his trapped opponent.

Oooooh, big shot lands for Deathgrip! Fed is hurt baaadly! Deathgrip is firing away with more strikes - Fed is covering up... the ref is warning him to do something. He's just covering up though still and the ref has to step in to end the fight! This one is all over!

Deathgrip closes the distance and takes a jab right on the nose as he does so.
Lasto throws a shot from downtown. Deathgrip moves away and avoids it.
Lasto doesn't manage to clinch there - Deathgrip circles away.
Deathgrip fails with a rather predictable takedown attempt.

The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.
Deathgrip wants to lay and pray for a moment but Lasto keeps working.
Deathgrip tries to score with some ground and pound. Lasto controls his posture well this time though and the shots don't do any damage.
Lasto knows he needs to get back to his feet asap. He's simply no match for Deathgrip on the ground.
