Let's see whether he can land a sub off his back. Chase preventing the sweep. Velez seems keen to control Chase's posture. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Chase drops back looking for a leg! Velez is in trouble here! And that's the end of the fight! Nj Chase comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Velez has outscored his opponent in every aspect of the fight today. Only a scarily incompetent judge or two will keep him from a well deserved win... Over to the ring announcer for the scorecards.

#R1# Chase tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Rhodes paws at him with a jab and circles away.#CL# Rhodes fakes with an overhand right and moves in to clinch with Chase, pushing him back against the cage. The referee calls for Rhodes to work.
Rhodes keeps the fight in the clinch, despite Chase's efforts to push away. Rhodes manages to get underhooks and slows down the pace for a moment.
Chase drops down looking for an ankle pick but Rhodes pulls his leg out and moves away.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Chase tries to clinch but Rhodes moves out of range. Rhodes slaps away a takedown attempt from Chase, before circling back to the center of the mat. Chase takes one to the chin there.#T1##CL# Rhodes moves into the clinch successfully.

#CL2# Chase gets a clinch. The pace slowing considerably in the clinch, as Rhodes takes a break from that fighting nonsense to think about the finer things in life. Chase drops down for a takedown but doesn't get it.
Brady Rhodes has stuffed three takedown attempts in the round now. That's going to take a lot out of Nj Chase. Chase wants to get back to striking at distance but Rhodes won't allow it.
The referee is keeping an eye on Rhodes - much more stalling and he will separate the fighters.

Rhodes postures up and throws a couple of big shots that have Chase in real trouble here! The ref calls for Chase to improve his position which he doesn't do, so the referee has no choice but to end the fight due to the strikes!
