#TD# and Michaels counters with a driving takedown into guard. Nice work there by Michaels. Michaels has to be careful here, sitting in the guard of a superior BJJ player.#SUB2# Michaels avoids a guillotine attempt easily.

Mcfly looking to hit a scissor sweep but Michaels is one step ahead there. Michaels trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcfly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michaels content to stall in guard here. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Michaels trying to pass the guard but can't manage it just yet. #T1# Mcfly trying to control the position here. #SUB2# Mcfly has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Michaels can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Michaels trying to control the position from guard on top but Mcfly is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. We've had a lack of effective grappling in the last minute or so, which could well see a referee standup. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#REF3# The referee decides to stand the fighters back up. Michaels takes one on the button.#T2# A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace. Mcfly goes for a spinning back kick but it misses. An attempted straight right counter from Michaels misses the target.#TD# Michaels closes the distance and after a bit of a stuggle, scores a takedown into Mcfly's guard. Mcfly is trying to keep Michaels in close.
#SUB2# Michaels got a little sloppy there for a moment and Mcfly has worked his way into a loose triangle - can he finish it?! No, Michaels has managed to get both his arms back between Mcfly's legs - danger averted. Michaels not doing a lot at the moment. He'll have to show some more aggression or the fight will get stood up. Michaels stopping the sweep attempt from Mcfly. Mcfly keeps trying to improve his position.#SUB2# Mcfly is active off his back here, looking for submissions.

He manages to land a nice scissor sweep and is now in half guard on the top. Nice move. #REVB# Mcfly throwing punches and elbows but they're not doing any damage. Mcfly is working hard to pass the guard. He's done it - he's now in full mount! Trouble for Michaels! Mcfly trying to control but Michaels is having none of it. Mcfly punching from mount but Michaels doing a good job of avoiding damage. Mcfly can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Michaels is looking to escape. #T4# Mcfly throwing sloppy strikes, which aren't doing any damage. Mcfly controlling from the full mount. Michaels is squirming around, avoiding Mcfly's attempts to control the action. Mcfly lands a couple of good shots and Michaels has given up his back, trying to escape the position! Mcfly trying desperately to keep hold of the dominant position.
Mcfly misses with punches from the back. Michaels is breathing heavily. The crowd thankful this round is nearly over. Will Mcfly go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?
Mcfly throws a big right hand but he misses and hits the mat. Ouch. And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
Marty Mcfly dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2##TD# Michaels gets a takedown into half guard. Michaels is keen to just control but Mcfly is a slippery customer.#SUB2# Mcfly looking for submissions from an awkward position here. Mcfly gets full guard. Mcfly has his hands on Michaels's head, controlling the position. Mcfly wants to sweep but no luck. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SUB2# Mcfly has an omoplata and is looking to use it perhaps as a submission or perhaps to transition. Michaels is in a bit of discomfort here, but he's managed to free himself and has dived into side control! That didn't work out too well for Mcfly. Mcfly has one of Michaels's arms on lockdown, trying to prevent him from doing any damage.#T1# Mcfly sneaks back into half guard. Mcfly controlling the position for now. Mcfly is trying to control but can't.
Michaels prevents Mcfly from improving his position. Mcfly is working for an escape here. He's hooked one of Michaels's legs and he's managed to sneak out and take Michaels's back! Mcfly missing with strikes from the back. Mcfly misses with a punch to the head. Marty Mcfly has got the better of the ground game so far.#T2# Will Mcfly go for the finish here or will he try and keep control of the position?

#R1# Michaels tries to clinch but fails miserably and Magomedov counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Michaels fails with the takedown and Magomedov counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Michaels tries for a takedown but Magomedov circles away easily and Magomedov connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle. Michaels misses with a takedown and Magomedov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Shaun Michaels. That's going to take a lot out of him. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Michaels wants to clinch. A nice side step and Magomedov releases a counter shot to the body, but it doesn't find it's home.#T1# Michaels misses with a takedown and Magomedov makes him pay by landing a nice hook to the body before moving out of range. Michaels with a lazy takedown attempt and Magomedov counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Michaels is breathing heavily. Michaels fails with a takedown attempt. Magomedov is clearly trying to counter these attacks from Michaels with a body shot. Michaels dives in and grabs Magomedov's left leg, looking for a takedown. Magomedov pushes down on Michaels's head and hops out. Michaels with a lazy takedown attempt #KD2# and Magomedov counters with a nice right hand that sends Michaels toppling to the canvas! Michaels scrambles and gets back to his feet - can Magomedov finish him?!#ROC2# Michaels is rocked! The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Michaels looks to clinch and Magomedov counters with a nice body shot. Oh Michaels is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Michaels gets his takedown attempt stuffed easily and Magomedov counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Michaels thinking. #T2# Michaels misses with a takedown and Magomedov counters with a huge overhand right that connects right on the temple, sending him crumpling, face first to the floor! This one is all over! What a knockout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 2:07 of round 1, we have a winner by way of KO (Punch). Rashid Magomedov! In his post fight interview, Rashid Magomedov started talking himself up. Luckily his charisma kept the crowd on side and gave him a good reception.
