#R1# Hall goes for a double leg but Nurmi avoids the attempt and the two fighters end up clinched against the cage as Nurmi continues to drive forward. Nurmi scores with a decent looking hook. Hall throws a nice looking combination but Nurmi bobs and weaves to avoid any damage. Hall wings a very wild body shot but it does the job and lands to the midsection. Hall throws a wild combination but nothing lands. #CL2# Hall moves into the clinch.#BC2# Hall manages to break the clinch.

Hall cracks a nice hook into Nurmi's ribs. TJ Hall seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Nurmi tries to score with an inside leg kick but telegraphs it and Hall is able to avoid easily. Hall ducks down and throws a hook to the body but Nurmi moves away.#TD# Hall gets caught napping as Nurmi dives in and scores a takedown. Hall manages to retain guard. The fans in attendance giving it up for the two fighters, who have really let it all hang out in the last minute or so! Nurmi wants to pass the guard but Hall is keeping the position. Hall wants to get back to his feet but Nurmi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. Nurmi's corner is telling him to maintain position. Nurmi won't allow Hall to get back to his feet. #T1# Nurmi tries to free his leg and advance position but Hall is retaining full guard. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hall being controlled here, momentarily. Nurmi seems to have a rather negative gameplan on the ground. He seems keen to just score the takedown and hold down Hall for as long as he can get away with. Nurmi prevents Hall from getting back to his feet. #REF3# The referee has motioned to the fighters to stand back up. He just wasn't happy with the level of activity. Hall shoots in for a takedown but Nurmi shows good takedown defense there and keeps this one on the feet. Nurmi pivots, looking for a leg kick but Hall is out of range and Nurmi settles back down. #TD# Hall tries to sprawl but Nurmi drives through with a takedown into half guard. Nurmi with a momentary lay and pray from half guard. Hall looks like he's trying to stand up.
The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#T2# Hall is looking to get back to is feet but Nurmi passes into side control.
Hall seems a little lost for a moment, as Nurmi dominates the positioning. Hall is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Nurmi controls the position from side control. Hall tries to wriggle free to get back to his feet but he's given up his back! Oops. Nurmi controlling the position well here. Hall rolled but Nurmi kept the hooks locked in and stayed in the dominant position.
Hall really doesn't want to stay on the ground with Nurmi. If he can't get it back to his feet, it's only a matter of time before he'll be tapping out. Hall remaining controlled and patient though - he really has to keep calm otherwise Nurmi will wrap this one up with the rear naked choke! Nurmi misses with an elbow to the head. Nurmi loading up with punches from the back mount - how long can Hall hold on?
#ES2# Hall is trying escape back to his feet. He turns into his opponent's guard and eventually finds his way back to his feet. Nurmi throws a wild body kick that Hall sees coming a mile off. Hall tries to clinch but Nurmi moves out of range. Hall cracks a nice hook into Nurmi's ribs.#CL# Nurmi instigates a clinch. Hall misses with a knee strike.
#BC# Nurmi pushes off and circles away, back to the middle of the mat. Nurmi moves his head to the side to avoid a jab but walks straight into a cross. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Nurmi uses good footwork to avoid the strikes from Hall. Nurmi slips a jab and a cross from Hall.
Hall throws a jab but it's blocked by Nurmi. Nurmi fails with an attempt to clinch.
Hall throws a right hand that Nurmi ducks under and follows up with a left that Nurmi also avoids with ease. Hall looks winded!#T4##TD# Nurmi closes the distance and looks for a trip takedown... aaaand he's got it - Nurmi lands in his opponent's guard. Nurmi controls from within his opponent's guard. Nurmi continues to stall. Both fighters have adopted an aggressive gameplan on the ground! Nurmi prevents Hall from getting back to his feet. Nurmi is taking a break and basically stalling. The referee will not allow him to do that for long. Nurmi really does look like a pencil wearing a pair of gloves. Let's hope he has a gameplan to suit that ridiculous body shape. Nurmi pushes down on Hall's leg and manages to get into half guard.#ES2# Hall makes some distance and scrambles quickly back to his feet. Nice work! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
That was a close round but I would say that Joonas Nurmi will probably get the nod. The corners get their ten second warning. Both fighters stand from their stools and stare eachother down, ready to get back to the action. #R2# Hall misses with a series of wild punches.
No joy there for Hall, who threw a few shots but didn't land.
#TD# Nurmi shoots in for a takedown from distance. He catches Hall napping and manages to drive through into side control! Nurmi grinds an elbow into Hall's temple. Hall trying to remain calm as Nurmi controls from the top position. Hall is trying to escape and get back to his feet. Nurmi has knee on belly and moves into mount. Nurmi controlling the position easily from mount. Nurmi can't quite control the action as he would like just now, as Hall is looking to escape. Hall is trying to get back to his feet but can't. #T1# Nurmi is still in mount, landing shots to his trapped opponent. Hall can't stay in a position like this for much longer.
Nurmi content just to control the position here. Nurmi's ground tactics aren't going to win him many fans. Let's hope he's got fireworks for us if he gets back to his feet because he's not doing much on the ground. More hug and hope from Nurmi. Hall squirming around on the bottom, looking to escape.

Hall doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Hall throws a body punch but Nurmi moves out of range. Hall takes a step back and watches a body kick go sailing past his mid section.

Joonas Nurmi dominated that second round. That's time! Back to the action! This is the final round! #R3# Nurmi cracks Hall with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business. Hall is throwing a lot of body shots here, looking to wear down Nurmi rather than just go for the knockout. Nurmi slips under a jab. Nurmi attempts a counter takedown but Hall avoids it well and moves away. TJ Hall seems to be getting the better of the standup. Nurmi tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. Hall misses with a double jab
#TD# and Nurmi counters with a nice double leg into side control. Hall won't be happy with that. Nurmi is working Hall over with some ground and pound from side control. Hall pushes Nurmi away and creates a bit of space to escape. He's almost out here... but no, Nurmi gets a good hold of his legs and remains firmly in side control. Nurmi throwing shots but missing, from side control. Nurmi is really dominating this fight. Is there anything that Hall can do to turn this around? Nurmi trying to control the action but Hall is working from the bottom. Hall is trying to buck Nurmi off. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Hall takes a big shot right to the temple there but he's taken it well.

Hall lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Nurmi circles away quickly and effectively. A combination from Hall does no damage. Nurmi feinted with a counter takedown.#TD# Nurmi drops down and drives through with a powerful takedown into guard. Hall wants to get back to his feet but Nurmi is in a dominant position and won't allow it. #T2# Nurmi is intent on slowing down the pace of the fight, simply looking to control. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Nurmi won't allow Hall to get back to his feet. Hall is using up a lot of energy trying to get back to his feet. Perhaps he should improve his position first.#ES2# Hall pushes Nurmi off and gets back to his feet.

And that's the end of the fight! Joonas Nurmi showed his dominance in that final round. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Nurmi, winning every round. Will the judges agree? #R1# Hall tries for a takedown but Chance circles away easily and Chance cracks him with a counter punch right on the button. Chance displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Hall. Hall throws a hard body shot but it just misses.
Chance tries to clinch but Hall moves out of range. Hall walks into a stiff left hand from Chance.#ROC2# Hall is rocked! Hall fakes high and shoots in for a takedown but Chance avoids it really well and circles away. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for TJ Hall. That's going to take a lot out of him. Chance lands with a big left! Hall is wobbled badly! Chance comes in with a flurry of punches and drops Hall to the floor. The ref jumps in to save him from unneccessary punishment.
Ladies and gentlemen, after 0:34 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Punches). Zero Chance!

#R1# The fight stays on the outside here - Mulligan looks like he's thinking about clinching though. Mulligan tries to close the distance and clinch up against the cage but Hall paws at him with a jab and circles away.#KD# A jab-cross combination lands for Hall and sends Mulligan crashing to the mat! Hall follows him down to the mat - Mulligan regains half guard but he's not out of trouble yet! #ROC# Mulligan is rocked!#SUB2# Mulligan is looking to sinch up a guillotine here but Hall pulls his head out easily. Mulligan is still in real trouble! Can Hall finish him? Hall thumps the canvas. Not on purpose obviously - he just missed Mulligan's head. Mulligan seems to have recovered his senses.#SU# Hall decides he's had enough of the ground and stands up. The crowd are loving this. Great action here.#KD# Hall cracks Mulligan with a big right hand and Mulligan goes down! Hall in full guard, throwing the ground and pound. No damage this time. #SU# Hall stands up and waves to Mulligan to follow him. Hall steps into range and unloads a brutal right left combo! Mulligan is out on his feet! Hall sets himself and nearly takes Mulligan's head off with a straight right, sending him crashing to the mat! Wow, that was nasty... but awesome! Wooo!
