Horrible takedown attempt by Pilsudski or perhaps it was just good defense by Dukes, which made it look bad. We all know that wrestlers don't like being on their back so let's see if Batista tries to get out of the position. Stone has been working on his striking defense in training and it's paying off as Dukes is landing a low percentage of strikes. Dukes shoots for a double leg takedown but Stone sprawls well. He's pushed Dukes's face into the mat and manages to get back to his feet relatively easily. A slow jab from Stone misses its intended target. Stone misses with a low kick as Dukes jumps back. Dukes checks a low kick from Stone. Stone checks a low kick from Dukes. Stone throws a head kick that misses and Dukes counters with a good, hard body kick but Stone shrugs it off. Dukes manages to improve position though and keeps the fight standing. #TD2# Rydell works for the underhooks and manages to get a trip takedown into guard. Dukes is trying to control the position but Rydell postures up. #SUB# Dukes has a loose triangle. He'll be looking to tighten that up but Rydell can see exactly what he's planning and manages to posture up and free himself. Rydell is looking to work some ground and pound but Dukes has wrist control. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Rydell won't allow Dukes to sweep him here. Dukes is working hard here to advance position. Rydell is working the ground and pound from guard. Fatey Ahmad is winning the standup battle so far. Nice sprawl there from Ahmad as Dukes shoots in. As Dukes looks to move away, Ahmad throws a big counter combo but Dukes just gets out of the way. Ahmad looks to land a combination. Dukes sees it coming but can only parry a couple of the shots.#CL2# Dukes drives through and clinches with Ahmad against the cage.
Dukes has Ahmad pressed against the cage, preventing Ahmad from circling away and getting back to striking at range. Boooooooooooooooooooo!!! God, this has been a terrible round. Come on you two, sort yourselves out!#BC2# Dukes escapes the clinch and we're back to striking.
Jason Dukes has stepped it up - he knows he needs a finish here! Fatey Ahmad is fighting for a decision here - he's started to take the cautious approach. Dukes throws a poor cross that misses

And that's the end of the fight! That was a close round. You could make an argument for either fighter but I would give it to Fatey Ahmad. Well I reckon that's a shut out for Ahmad, winning every round. Will the judges agree? They are the ones who matter, even if they are often depressingly incompetent.
