We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Mashburn looking for a sweep. Not yet Mashburn, not yet. Norris tries to stand but Mashburn is controlling from the bottom. #R1##TD2# Yepes drives through with a takedown into guard. Yepes trying to control the position from guard on top but Norris is wriggling around, looking for whatever he can. Norris keeping full guard, as Yepes tries to pass. Norris is controlling Yepes's posture.#ES# Norris has managed to wall walk up one of the corner posts to get back to his feet. Yepes is pushing him up against the cage, looking to control the position. We've been informed that Yepes has been sparring a lot of Muay Thai in the buildup to this fight so let's see if that has an impact on the result.#TD2# Yepes pulls guard successfully.
Norris with a nice head shot there. Yepes wants to control the position but Norris says "no thanks buddy" and passes to half guard. Yepes tries to roll over but Norris keeps him under control. Yepes pushes Norris off but Norris dives into side control.
#T1##SU# Norris stands up and we're back to a striking position. Good leg kick by Norris there. It's the ones that make that thud noise that hurt and that was an almighty thud.

Jensen throws a monster uppercut resembling something out of street fighter but it doesn't land. Norris tries to counter with a takedown but Jensen is quick to defend against it. Norris shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Jensen connects with a straight left hand counter down the middle.#CUT2# It looks like Rico Norris has been cut.#T1# Norris takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness.
