Nice work there by Diaz. McCracken can't keep his opponent in guard - Diaz advances to half guard, no doubt looking to mount. McCracken desperately trying to maintain half guard. #SUB# Diaz is looking for a kimura. It's going to be difficult to finish that from half guard though and McCracken defends it well. Ape Diaz dominated that round. The fighters get back to their feet, the hooter sounds and we're back to the action! #R2# Diaz uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by McCracken.
McCracken dips to his left and cracks Diaz with an uppercut! Diaz defending well as McCracken loads up on a big left hand. McCracken cracks Diaz with an open hand slap. McCracken scores with a nice head shot. Good standup being displayed there by McCracken as he connects with a hook. McCracken misses with a hook. McCracken throws a hook to the body but it doesn't connect.
Diaz drops down looking for a counter takedown but McCracken sprawls and moves away. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Diaz takes a body punch that cleary hurt but he's trying not to show any weakness. Diaz keeping his hands up high there, blocking the jab from McCracken. McCracken scores to the head and body with a nice combination!#ROC2# Diaz is rocked! We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! McCracken is looking for an opening here. He's unloaded a big left hand that catches Diaz flush on the jaw and sends him tumbling to the canvas! Diaz is out cold! McCracken holds back from landing any unnecessary shots to his unconscious opponent, as the referee reacts slowly to the situation. A brutal knockout and then some excellent sportsmanship - this guy is my new favorite fighter!

#R1# Peeps tries to close the distance and clinch up but Diaz swats him away and circles back towards the center. Diaz shoots in for a takedown but Peeps shows good takedown defense. DJ Peeps seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Peeps misses with a low kick.#TD# Peeps closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. Diaz is looking to reverse the position.#SUB# Peeps is looking for a kimura. He might have it! No, Diaz has escaped the position, nice work there. Diaz is looking for a sweep. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#SU# Peeps stands up and we're back to a striking position. A really sloppy takedown attempt there from Peeps.#T1# Peeps closes this distance looking for a takedown but Diaz circles away. No luck with that takedown attempt from Peeps. Ichigo lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Diaz backwards. Diaz is trying to drag Ichigo to the mat but Ichigo just about manages to keep his footing. He used the cage to his advantage there. Ichigo working on landing some head shots here - that one got through nicely. Ichigo lands on the inside with an uppercut. Diaz is working on a leg, looking for a takedown but Ichigo is defending well. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Ape Diaz. That's going to take a lot out of him. Ichigo lands with a light punch inside. Diaz can't get the takedown.
