The fighters connect hands in the middle of the mat and we are under way. De Lange shoots and misses and King Jnr counters with a shoot takedown. De Lange fights it but they end up in guard. Score +2 for takedown into guard / half guard: De Lange (0) vs (2) King Jnr De Lange controls King Jnr momentarily but King Jnr frees himself. King Jnr's corner is telling him to maintain position. King Jnr drops back looking for a leg! De Lange is in trouble here! The fighters roll with the hold and De Lange manages to kick King Jnr off! King Jnr jumps back into De Lange's guard. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. De Lange is working actively from the bottom, looking for submissions. He's escaped his hips to the side and he's going for an armbar! King Jnr has his hands clasped together but De Lange extends and breaks King Jnr's desperate grasp, forcing a tap out due to armbar! #R1# King Jnr stuffs the takedown attempt from Myres. Myres gets slowly back to his feet. Myres cracks King Jnr with a hook to the jaw. Both fighters smile at eachother and high-five before getting back down to business.#CUT2# It looks like David King Jnr has been cut. Myres looks frustrated there after his takedown attempt is stuffed easily. King Jnr changes levels looking for a counter takedown but doesn't commit. Myres scores with a hook. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. King Jnr is starting to get sloppy and is letting his hands down. Myres just took advantage and landed a stinging jab. Oh! Now a right hook, right on the button! King Jnr has gone limp and this one is over!
