A jab lands there for Balls.
No luck for Ichi with that takedown attempt.
Ichi uses decent footwork to sidestep a right hand from Balls.
We can't be sure of the tactics at this early stage but we have heard that Ichi has been working on his takedowns a lot in the buildup to the fight and we can only assume he's going to look to take this to the mat.

Ichi takes a jab on the nose there. A little bit of blood seems to be coming out. Hopefully that won't affect his breathing.

We've been hearing good reports from Balls's training camp. Apparently he has been rolling around with some good quality BJJ practitioners and has been sharpening his skills. Let's see if that has an impact on the fight today.

Oooooooooooh, not good. A low kick from Balls lands where it shouldn't have, right in the... well, you know what he did? He kicked him in the penis. He's injured, injured bad. The referee sends both fighters to their corners and Jones has 5 minutes to recover. He's OK now though... a thumbs up from Jones and we're back underway with a touch of gloves.#TD#
