#T3##SUB2# Second wants to finish this one by submission but Church is holding onto his waist, trying to prevent any attacks from Second. Second takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. Church is desperately trying to get back to half guard.
Second sitting in mount, just looking to control for the moment. The fighters are starting to get a bit slippery now, which will make submissions a bit more difficult. Church is in all sorts of trouble here.
#T4# There's not a lot going on here and the crowd are letting the fighters know they're not willing to tolerate a lack of action. Second with the ground and pound from mount. Second landing punches. #CUT2# Marshall Church's cut is getting worse. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. Second connects with a couple of good shots from mount.
#CUT2# Marshall Church's cut is bleeding quite badly. He's got to try and protect it. Church might be looking to lock onto one of his opponent's long limbs for a submission, whilst we're on the ground. Church tries to buck Second off but he can't manage it. Second controlling the pace for now. Second working the ground and pound effectively.
The referee calls the doctor in to look at Marshall Church's cut. Oh no, the doctor has called an end to the bout!
Ladies and gentlemen, after 4:59 of round 1, we have a winner by way of TKO (Cut). Jake Second!
