Qui displays good takedown defense there as he swats away a double leg from Petrovic. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Qui defending well as Petrovic loads up on a big left hand. Qui stuffs a takedown. It's all about dictating where the fight takes place and Qui wants it to stay on the feet. Petrovic tries a switch kick but it misses it's target. #T1# Petrovic shoots in for a takedown. "I don't think so" says Qui as he avoids it easily. #R1##TD# Petrovic shoots in and gets a takedown into Montano's guard. Montano looks really tired already! That doesn't bode well for a good, competitive fight! Petrovic pushing down on Montano's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. Petrovic not doing much here.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#T1# Petrovic uses his free foot to push down on Montano's thigh. Eventually he works his other foot free and he's advanced to mount - this is trouble for Montano. Petrovic takes a little breather and maintains the position. The referee will be looking for him to stay active from such a dominant position though. The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work.#SUB# Montano defends a decent attempt at a guillotine from Petrovic. Petrovic looking to finish Montano with some ground and pound. This is bad for Montano! Petrovic controls the pace of the fight for a moment. Cain controlling the position. Cain lands a beautiful sweep and he's now moved into his opponent's guard.#REVB# The fighters are pressed up against the cage, both looking to find a bit of space to work. That was a close round but I would say that Srboljub Petrovic will probably get the nod. That's time! Cain distracts Petrovic with his right hand and drops a big elbow with his other arm. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Cain wants to control from the top but Petrovic keeps moving. Petrovic is working an open guard here, looking to improve his position. No doubt that will leave him open to counters but at least he's being more offensive. Petrovic is pulling down on Cain's head to control his posture. Petrovic throws a couple of shots from the bottom but they don't land. Cain throwing strikes but missing. That was a close second round but I would say that Srboljub Petrovic will probably get the nod. That's the end of the interval. I'm sure that seemed a lot quicker than a minute for our two fighters!
