Hobbes creates a bit of distance and throws down some hard shots.#SUB2# Hobbes working hard here to secure a kimura but he's not really in the right position for it. Holder is sneaking out the side here. He's bucked Hobbes off and has taken his back! The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing. Hobbes is really stuck here.
Hobbes has the superior BJJ but he's also working some ground strikes into his gameplan. Hobbes wants to control his opponent's hands but Holder gets his hands free. So, who will make the next big move? In this position it could be crucial.

Holder stays in close to Ohio's body and controls the position. Holder with a couple of shots to the head there. Not particularly brutal. Ohio can't do much from the bottom at the moment, as Holder controls the pace. The ref warns both fighters not to hold the cage as they work up against the meshing.#SU# Holder decides to stand up and beckons his opponent to follow. Ohio has his takedown stuffed#TD# and Holder counters with a nice shoot takedown that brings the fighters to the ground. Holder slows down the pace of the fight for a moment. He'll need to remain active if he doesn't want to see the fight stood back up. Holder with a nice head shot there. #R1# Holder fails to land the takedown. Richardson stuffs the takedown attempt from Holder. Holder gets slowly back to his feet. Holder fails with the takedown and Richardson counters with a lovely shot to the body. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Douglas Holder. That's going to take a lot out of him. Holder takes one on the button.#CUT2# It looks like Douglas Holder has been cut. A lazy left from Richardson finds it's target.#ROC2# Holder is rocked! Holder tries for a takedown but Richardson circles away easily and Richardson counters with a shot to the ribs. That looked like it hurt. Oh Holder is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Holder is breathing heavily. Holder takes a shot to the body in his stride.
Holder switches off momentarily and Richardson cracks him with a monster right hand! Holder topples backwards and makes a semi conscious attempt to cover up, as Richardson dives in to land one more shot, before the referee has time to call the fight. What a finish by Richardson!

#R1# Fredi throws a right hand that Holder ducks under and follows up with a left that Holder also avoids with ease. Holder went nuts there looking for a big combo counter but none of the flurry connected.#CL2# Fredi clinches with his opponent.
