#R1# Horrible takedown attempt by Mills or perhaps it was just good defense by Bendayho, which made it look bad. Mills looks for the body kick but Bendayho saw that one coming. Mills takes one on the button. Bendayho connects with a looping right hand.
Mills keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.
Mills tries for a takedown but Bendayho circles away easily and Bendayho counters with a nice uppercut. Mills is looking to chop away at Bendayho's legs. #TD# Mills shoots in with a lovely double leg takedown. Bendayho manages to land in full guard to minimise the damage. Bendayho being controlled here, momentarily. Mills wants to pass the guard but Bendayho is keeping the position.#T1# Mills seems content to control from guard here. He's going to have to remain active though if he doesn't want to get stood back up. #SU# Mills stands up from guard. Let's bang! Tomas Bendayho is looking to keep the fight on the feet at all costs. Bendayho scores with a sloppy punch to the body. Not much technique there but it did the business. Bendayho stuffs the takedown attempt from Mills. Mills gets slowly back to his feet. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Mason Mills. That's going to take a lot out of him. Mills ducks under a wild hook from Bendayho. Bendayho thows a left - swing and a miss! A big right from Bendayho misses. #T2# A slow jab from Bendayho misses its intended target. Mills is looking to counter the offense by Bendayho and move into the clinch. Bendayho looks more muscular than last time we saw him. He must have been on the weights. Bendayho connects with a nice looking jab.

Mills tries to drive through with a takedown attempt but Bendayho defends well and Mills ends up having to push Bendayho into the cage where they will battle it out in the clinch. Mills fails with the takedown. Bendayho jabbing away but nothing is landing. Bendayho lands a jab to the head.

Bendayho uses good footwork to get in and out and land a nice right hand before Mills has time to react. Wooooo! Give it up for these two warriors! They are putting on a show! Mills takes a body punch but keeps moving. Mills pulls out of a head kick attempt.

and Mills counters with a lovely shot to the body. No luck with that takedown attempt from Mills. Mills is breathing heavily. Bendayho throws a hook but Mills avoids it easily. Mills wants to clinch and Bendayho counters with a crisp hook to the side of the head. Oh Mills is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Mills is looking to clinch but Bendayho is avoiding it.
Mills seems to have got his legs back now.#KD2# Bendayho cracks Mills with a big right hand that sends him crashing to the floor. Bendayho has the opportunity to follow him to the ground but instead he's beckoning Mills to stand back up! Bendayho is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Mills had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Bendayho misses with a body shot. Nice footwork from Mills.
Bendayho closes the distance and lands a vicious right hand that drops Mills! Bendayho dives in looking to finish! Mills is still trying to defend himself but he's taking too many shots and the referee has no choice but to stop the fight!
