Es connects with a high kick. Torr Es seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Es moves away from the strike by Chris. Es tries to counter by clinching up but Chris breaks away and moves out of range. Es tries to clinch up but Chris circles away and keeps his distance. Es misses with a head kick.
A head kick misses from Es. Es throws a head kick that Chris semi-blocks.
Es looks to land a body kick but Chris moved away. Chris checks a low kick. Bone on bone - not my idea of a good time. Chris loads up on a big right hand but Es slips the punch. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Es uses some good footwork to avoid the body shot by Chris.
Chris throws a lazy right hand but Es sees it coming a mile off and sidesteps it easily. Es quickly followed up with a counter body kick but doesn't connect. A solid body kick from Es. And an attempted straight right on the counter from Chris! But no joy. Es throws a half hearted mid kick. Some bone on bone action there as Chris checks a low kick. Luckily it wasn't a particularly hard one. Well, he's not going to score with shots like that. A lazy body kick attempt from Es. Es throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Chris. Es throws a head kick but Chris moves out of range.
Chris fakes a head punch and goes low to the body. Nicely done. Es with poor footwork there. He got himself in a bit of a tangle, enabling Chris to score with a decent uppercut. Es dances in quickly and lands a nice inside leg kick on Chris. That did some damage!#T2# Es displays some good footwork, moving neatly out of range as Chris throws out the jab. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Es darts in trying to clinch and Es takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Chris lands an overhand right. Es has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple) in the buildup to the fight. Es throws a head kick that connects with a bit of head and a bit of hand.
Es misses with the body kick and Chris counters with a quick right hand to the jaw. Chris checks the leg kick. Es thows a body kick. Chris tries to catch it but that hurt him. Chris avoids a kick to the body.

A low kick from Es misses and Chris counters with a nice uppercut. Chris takes a push kick to the midsection and stumbles backwards. Chris slips in close and lands a nice hook before moving back out of range. Es throws out a leg kick but Chris moves out of range and Es only half commits. Chris clobbers Es with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Es fakes with a right hand and throws a good leg kick, right into the thigh. That had to hurt Chris. A low kick from Es is predictable there and Chris counters with a lovely straight right hand! Es moves into range and lands a nice leg kick. Es ducks right into an uppercut from Chris. Chris on the wrong end of a nice low kick. He's acting like it's no big deal but he doesn't want to take many more of those. This has been an exciting period of action! A solid leg kick lands there for Es.
Chris is landing a lot of head punches in this opening round! Es had better start moving his head a bit unless he wants his face to turn into pâté.#T4# Es lands with a thumping leg kick.

Es looks for the body kick but Chris saw that one coming. Es throws a right high kick that is partially blocked by Chris. Chris's corner calls for a 1, 2 combination and Chris duly obliges. Chris rushes forward with a series of wild hooks but Es moves out of range and avoids them all easily. Chris steps to his left, right into the path of a big body kick from Es. That one must have hurt. Chris clobbers Es with an overhand right that has the crowd gasping. That made a horrendous noise. Es looks to land a body kick but Chris moved away. Es explodes with a nice body kick and back out of range. Nice work.#KD2# Oooooh!!! Chris has knocked Es down with a huge combo! Chris steps away and waves a wobbly Es back to his feet! This one might not go much longer!#ROC2# Es is rocked! And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.
A close round but Scuba Chris will probably get the nod. That's time! Es's corner gives him a slap on the ass as he gets ready to fight. #R2# Chris misses with a few strikes there.
Oh Es is still all over the place! His legs are completely gone! Will he be able to recover?!! Es throws a body kick that misses and Chris scores with a counter punch that sends Es to the canvas! Chris smells blood - he's punishing Es with more strikes and the ref has stopped it! Es has no idea where he is - he's tackled the ref... oh dear, poor guy, the crowd is in hysterics!

Es has been working on his boxing with his coaches at Heart Cave (8 elites, 4 double-elites, 1 triple) in the buildup to the fight. Es pulls out of a head kick attempt.
Shann drops down looking to force a counter takedown but Es defends it well. Shann lunges in with swinging rights and lefts but Es circles away quickly and effectively. Es avoids a punch combination nicely.
A punch combination from Shann misses. Shann takes a thudding leg kick, right into the meat of the thigh. Es scoring well with a low kick there.
Es looking to throw a kick but he's pulled out of it. Es plants his feet and lands a nice head kick!#CL# Es moves into the clinch. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Knees to the body from Es.

Reem lands a nice shot that snaps Es's head back.

Reem works on Es's body with a couple of short punches. Reem has a couple of punches blocked by Es.
Reem misses with a hook from the clinch. Es tries to stall but Reem uses the opportunity to gain a better position.
Es tries to pull guard but Reem holds him up against the cage and eventually Es drops back down to his feet.
Es is trying to slow down the pace of the fight but Reem is keeping busy. Both guys are working to get underhooks. Es seems frustrated at his inability to get double underhooks. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Reem gets through Es's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. Es takes a shot to the head. Es with an attempt at a knee that misses.
