Batina moves in looking to clinch but Harvey pushes him off.
It seemed like Harvey was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
Batina tries to score a power double leg takedown but Harvey sees that one coming and sprawls well. That will dishearten Batina somewhat.
Harvey looks like he wants to counter punch here.
Batina tries to clinch there but Harvey circles away.
A punch lands to the side of Batina 's head but he takes it in his stride.
Harvey keeps the fight on the outside.
Donald Harvey seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout.
Batina steps to the side to avoid the strikes from Harvey.
Harvey misses with a low kick as Batina jumps back.
Batina is looking for a counter combo.
Harvey moves in looking to clinch but Batina pushes him off.
Batina dives in and grabs Harvey's left leg, looking for a takedown. Harvey pushes down on Batina's head and hops out.
We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.

Harvey motions for Batina to come forward. Harvey throws a leg kick but it misses it's target.

Batina seems to have got his legs back now.

Batina tries to land knees in the clinch but Harvey avoids the damage to the body.
A head punch on the inside from Harvey fails to land.

Harvey is struggling to control the position.
Batina scores a nice knee to the body.
Batina blocks a punch to the side of the head.
Batina throws a vicious knee straight up the middle but Harvey blocks it with crossed arms.

Batina's corner calls for him to break the clinch, which he does.
Harvey lands with a slapping head kick.

Batina shoots in and bounces Harvey off the cage to secure the takedown into guard.#T2#
Harvey is looking to stand up but Batina isn't so interested in that idea.

A few boos can be heard. I'm sure they will multiply if the fighters don't pick up the pace.

The referee has decided to stand the fighters back up, so we'll restart on the feet.
The crowd thankful this round is nearly over.
Harvey wants to clinch
and Batina counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw.
Batina shoots in looking for a takedown. Harvey tries to sprawl out of it but Batina keeps driving through. The fighters are pinned against the cage. Harvey manages to get underhooks and after a bit of a struggle, circles away and we're back to standing.
It seemed like Harvey was going to counter with the hook but didn't fully commit to it.
And that’s the end of the round – the fighters go back to their corners.

Harvey lunges at Batina with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Batina's hand.
Batina shoots in but doesn't get the takedown
and Harvey counters with a lovely shot to the body.
Batina walks straight into a jab right on the nose. That one stung - he's blinking and trying to clear his head.
Batina takes a jab on the nose. He smiles like he loves it and keeps coming.
Harvey avoids the clinch attempt nicely.

Harvey bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut.

This has been an exciting period of action!
and Harvey counters with a massive uppercut that badly hurts Batina! He's just covering up as Harvey starts to tee off till the referee steps in and stops the fight!
