#R1# Lancaster with a lazy takedown attempt and Santana counters nicely by changing levels and landing a hook to the body. Santana jabs Lancaster right on the nose. Lancaster blinks but takes it well.#CUT2# It looks like Pedro Lancaster has been cut. A lazy left from Santana finds it's target. Santana misses with a body shot.
Lancaster could do with losing a few pounds - he looks very soft around the mid section, to put it politely. Santana cracks Lancaster with an open hand slap. Lancaster avoids the body shot from Santana.
Lancaster tries to counter with a takedown but Santana is quick to defend against it.#TD# Lancaster closes the distance, clinches up and gets a nice trip takedown into side control. Very smooth. The crowd are loving this. Great action here. Lancaster lands a knee to the body and a forearm to the face. Lancaster lands a decent elbow from side control. Santana is putting a lot of effort into getting back to his feet here. Lancaster lands a few punches from side control. Lancaster in side control lands a decent elbow. Lancaster lands some shots froms side control. Lancaster connects with a decent looking elbow from side control that caused Santana some visible discomfort.
Santana wants to get back to his feet but Lancaster drags him back down. We get told so often about how wrestlers don't like to be on their backs. Let's see if Santana can do anything to dispel that myth. Lancaster landing strikes. Lancaster has been looking to land a fair amount of strikes on the ground. He might be looking to soften his opponent up in order to work for a submission. Santana is working hard to escape and get back to his feet. After a battle for position, Lancaster asserts his dominance and retains side control. Lancaster working away diligently from side control. Landing strikes effectively there - that will score him some points on the judges scorecards.
#T2##SUB# Lancaster has an Americana. Santana didn't react quickly enough there and he's in big trouble now! He tries to squirm out but is forced to tap! Lancaster is delighted and gyrates in front of the ring girls. They seem to like the attention - it'll be interesting to see if Lancaster hooks up with any of them at the after show party.

#R1# Juan avoids the body shot from Santana.
#TD2# Juan throws the overhand right but ducks down into a quick takedown attempt. Santana was covering up waiting for the punch and Juan finishes the takedown easily into guard. Juan showing good wrestling skills to control the position. Santana wants to stand up but Juan is controlling him. Juan's corner is telling him to maintain position. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. Santana is trying to stand up but he's not managed so far. Juan pushing down on Santana's thigh, trying to pass to half guard. He's managed it... Nice work. #T1##SUB2# Juan is trying a forearm choke… I don't think that's going to do much at this level of the game.
#SUB2# Juan is looking for a kimura but he's never going to get it from there. Juan content to sit in half guard and control for a moment. Juan wants to pass the guard but Santana is defending well.
