Owen Bouchard seems to be the more aggressive standup fighter in this bout. Bouchard throws the left hand but Scott avoids the punch easily.#TD# Scott gets a takedown into half guard. Bouchard is looking for a sweep. Scott is wise to his cunning plan and keeps the top position. Scott will need to keep those long limbs tucked in whilst he's on the ground, to prevent any submissions. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up. and Scott counters with a one-two to the body. Bouchard lands with a shot to the body. Scott gets his head snapped back by a nice shot there.#CUT2# It looks like Grant Scott has been cut. Bouchard throws out a token jab with nothing on it. Bouchard swings wildly with a right hand that was never going to find it's target. Scott thinks about countering with a head kick. Scott defending well as Bouchard loads up on a big left hand. Bouchard might want to mix his strikes up a bit more. He's just going for head shots at the moment and that can become a bit predictable.#T2# Bouchard jabs Scott to the body, keeping him at a distance. Scott bobs and weaves well there to avoid the strikes. Scott finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Bouchard doesn't fully commit to the body shot counter. Grant Scott is looking to throw some combinations by the looks of things. Bouchard lands with an uppercut that bounces Scott off the cage and back into range. Bouchard cracks a nice hook into Scott's ribs. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Scott moves out of range as Bouchard strikes. A telegraphed right hand from Bouchard misses the target. Bouchard throws a nice hook to the body that draws an oooh from the crowd. #T3# Scott slips under a jab from Bouchard. Scott throws a big counter combination but Bouchard scrambles out of danger and avoids any damage. Scott fails with an attempt to clinch.

Scott gets through Ray's defenses to land a nice punch to the side of the head. We've had a slow start to the round here - hopefully the action picks up.#TD# Scott jumps into guard, dragging Ray to the mat.

Scott can't do much from the bottom here. Scott looks to move to half guard but instead Jones has passed into mount! Damn! Scott is in all sorts of trouble here.

And that's the end of the fight! Steve Jones comfortably won the final round on my scorecard. Well Jones has outworked and out performed his opponent in all aspects of the game today. Scott is trying to defend against the ground and pound but Johnson scores with a couple of nice shots. Johnson lands with a punch from half guard. Johnson is sitting in half guard. He's postured up and lands a nice elbow. Oh, Scott is hurt! He's hurt bad - Johnson fires away with more strikes and the referee jumps in to save Scott from any more punishment! Congratulations to Johnson! Great finish!
