#R1# Pakkanen lunges at Berner with a hook that half lands and is half blocked by Berner's hand. A left and a right from Pakkanen both land. Nice combination. Berner tries to grapple but his opponent circles and Pakkanen counters with a straight right hand. Nice shot by Pakkanen. Pakkanen swats away the attempt to clinch by Berner. Pakkanen throws a body shot but no joy. Pakkanen stuffs the takedown. The crowd cheers as Pakkanen lands an impressive looking overhand right. Berner doesn't seem phased though. Berner listening to his corner there, landing a nice uppercut.#CUT# It looks like Ruska Pakkanen has been cut. Pakkanen connects with the punch. We've seen a great period of action over the last minute or so - credit to both fighters for going all out! A left lands for Pakkanen. Berner takes one to the side of the head.
#T1# Berner tries to clinch up against the cage, rushing in to close the distance. Pakkanen manages to break the clinch and circles back to the middle of the mat. Berner fails with the takedown and Berner takes a counter punch right on the button for his troubles. Berner finds nothing but air with that leg kick attempt.
Pakkanen slips under a jab. Berner looks to score with a combo but nothing lands. Pakkanen thuds a left hand into Berner's body.#CL# Berner moves into the clinch successfully.
Berner swings away with an uppercut that misses.
Berner has dropped down and is looking to force the takedown but it's defended by Pakkanen after a bit of a struggle. That's three failed takedown attempts in the round for Robert Berner. That's going to take a lot out of him. Berner tries to take the fight to the ground by pulling guard but can't manage it.
The two fighters are working to gain dominance in the clinch. #TD# Berner jumps into guard, dragging Pakkanen to the mat.
Berner tries to land a sweep but no joy. #T2##SUB# Pakkanen is trying to tuck his arms in to keep them safe but Berner has managed to isolate one of them and has got a loose triangle. Pakkanen is looking to defend but Berner has done well to lock his legs together - this could be big trouble for Pakkanen! Berner pulls down on the head and a little smile comes across his face - he knows he's got it. Yep, Pakkanen taps out and this one is all over!
