We've been hearing reports that Jackson has been drilling takedowns in recent sessions so let's see if that has an impact on the result of this fight. Jackson throws a jab but it's blocked by Al Rashad. Jackson scores with a jab. Al Rashad throws a front kick aimed at Jackson's knee but Jackson avoids it well. Jackson fails to land the takedown. and Al Rashad counters with a nice jab to the body that keeps Henriksen thinking. Al Rashad misses with a straight left. The fighters circling - Trowning throws out the jab but it was never going to land. Al Rashad connects nicely with a jab. Noted by the judges no doubt.#CL2# Trowning closes the distance and clinches. Trowning swings wildly with an uppercut but Al Rashad uses good head movement to avoid it. Al Rashad lands a short shot on the inside that snaps the head of Trowning backwards. We've been told by Trowning's head coaches at Dark Corner that he's been working on his takedown defense in preparation for this fight. Trowning lands a straight punch to the body, keeping Al Rashad at a distance.
Al Rashad misses with a hook
and Trowning counters with a good right hand that lands right on the jaw. Al Rashad takes a jab right on the nose. That must have hurt but he shrugs his shoulders and looks to return the favor. Trowning thuds a left hand into Al Rashad's body. Trowning cracks Al Rashad with a right hand to the side of the head. Al Rashad has been spending a lot of time sparring his boxing in the run up to the fight, trying to sharpen up those hands and look for a knockout. Trowning bobs and weaves and unloads with a good uppercut. Fantastic stuff here - a very entertaining period of action, which has drawn cheers from the crowd. Al Rashad keeping a good distance there, avoiding the body shot.

Al Rashad shoots in but doesn't get the takedown and Da Silva Minh counters with a leg kick. Al Rashad takes a swing at Da Silva Minh's ribcage but misses. Da Silva Minh throws a counter combo. Al Rashad walks forward and throws a big overhand right! Da Silva Minh drops to the floor like a sack of potatoes! Al Rashad swarms on him with more punches until the referee wrestles him away from Da Silva Minh's unconscious body! Wow, that was brutal!
